Ghana's President-Elect and soon to be sworn in as the substantive president of the Republic, His Excellency John Dramani Mahama has expressed bitterly his discomfort about the state of Ghana's economy he is soon to inherit, claiming it is in shambles and for that matter a trap set by Akuffo Addo-Bawumia's shameful government.
According to Mr. Mahama, his promisingly far-reaching expected government will unearth all efforts, experiences and governing knowledge to escape unscathed and better set Ghana on economic growth and development track through NDC's "Resetting Ghana" agenda. "The NPP government has set a trap for us. But we shall not be caught in the trap; we will escape unscathed " he said.
In his recent address to NDC supporters, he noted some key sectors of the economy, Education and Energy sector, highly indebted by the outgoing NPP government and sought to appealing NDC supporters to be fervent in prayers for good and smooth governance expected of his incoming cabinet. "This is the time we need to engage in fervent prayers than we did during the campaign for God to grant us the strength and wisdom to implement measures that will make Ghana a better place to live. All I will say is that, it is finished; God has done it", he concluded.
