‘Meet me under the clocks’ - Undoubtedly the most popular meeting place in the city, “I’ll meet you under the clocks” is a saying that has been used by generations of Melbournanians.

Flinders street - one of the most iconic landmarks in Melbourne. It’s a pretty busy place and featured constantly on postcards, and is probably the most photographed building in the city.📸

Interesting fact: It was the first steam rail station in Australia. With thousands of people gathering at the track to see the first public steam train.🚂

Our first day in Bali involved sorting things like SIM cards, exchanging money and shopping. Living among the locals and not in resorts, is a totally different way of experiencing Bali.

Having to do all these things in an unfamiliar country, where people's English is not the best, took us out of our comfort zone. However, Balinese people are very nice and helpful, and thanks to translating apps we've managed to communicate with some people. ❤️

After battling with the heat and humidity, and not being familiar with the local cuisine, we've managed to power through the first day.

We know that traveling sounds like all fun and games. And although it might not look like it, but it can get exhausting from time to time, so we do need a vacation here and there😄

And when it comes to Bali, there are so many places, like Ubud and the nearby areas where you can enjoy a so-called experience stay. We really wanted a place with a pool, to relax after a hard week of work and we found this place

Here is what we spent for a weekend stay (Saturday & Sunday):

Accommodation: £66 - €59 - breakfast included
Transport: Walking - free 😂
Drinks: £12 - €13.5
Dinner - eat out - £15 - €17

Mornings on rice terraces in Bali 🌄Such a romantic spot! 🥰

As kids we loved going on a swing, so why not connect with our childish side and have fun now too? …This is a cool upgrade thou, in case you want to take a nap in the middle of the day 😄😄

We enjoyed our time here and spending some moments together🥰 but the reality is that Lavi was getting motion sickness after a bit of time on that swing😄 The struggle was real 😄😵‍💫😵‍💫
