No, we can't just skip to the good part.
I am sure narinig niyo na ang phrase sa kantang ito. "Can we skip to the good part?" Tapos biglang transition sa successful part.
The truth is, no. We cannot.
Imagine sitting on your couch watching a movie at iintroduce palang ang bida, then suddenly i fa-fast forward o i-skip ang movie to the part na kung saan okay na ang buhay ng bida, namatay na ang kontra at happy ever after na.
Ano ang mararamdaman mo? You will be confused, hindi mo masundan ang story at hindi mo maintindihan. BECAUSE YOU SKIPPED to the good part only. Papano ang background? Papano ang plot? Ano ang ginawa ng bida? Bakit ganito, bakit ganyan?
Sa buhay natin, parang pinikula yan, meron at merong bad part na darating. Those bad parts are your PAINS, SLEEPLESS NIGHTS, CRIES, DEPRESSION, ANXIETY, DISAPPOINTMENTS, REJECTIONS, and etc.
But these parts can be a roadmap to your "good part." These can crush you but can also build you up.
The scripture said in 1 Peter 1:7,
"That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:"
Your bad part, your trials, struggles, and cries, can be used for our good and for God's glory.
So, what can you do?
Simple, endure that part.
You can cry, you can breakdown, but always remember that God provides a special rest for those who rest upon Him.
As the song goes,
We cannot know God's peace without the hard times
Be thankful for relief without the pain
We cannot love the light without the darkness
Or appreciate the sun without the rain.
If you're not in your "Good part" yet, it will come eventually, but first, endure, and be faithful to Him.
