UPDATE | Fifth Arrest Made
The Durant Police Department has made a fifth arrest related to the recent shooting incidents. Our investigators continue to work diligently to ensure all individuals involved are held accountable.

The Durant Police Department has made arrests and accounted for the individuals identified as shooters in the recent events over the weekend. Our investigators continue to work diligently, following leads, collecting evidence, and building solid cases to ensure accountability. We still believe these incidents to be isolated and do not believe there is an immediate threat to the public.

We remain committed to protecting public safety and keeping our community informed with updates as appropriate. More specifics will be provided in the near future as the investigation progresses.

Southbound US-69/75 will be narrowed to one lane at Main St. in Durant, Bryan Co., from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Wednesday for bridge maintenance. Drivers should use caution and slow down in the work zone.
