What a day! This was definitely a dream come true for me. Not only did I get to talk about the wonderful thrifting we have in Loudoun, but I got to do it on our local news!

It's back to school season!! Here's your guide for getting what you need while staying on budget ⬇️

♻️ Clothing, shoes, accessories: all of our area thrift stores have children's & teen clothing. Think about what you need, as that may help you to figure out where to shop.

♻️ Seasonal consignment sales are a great way to stock up on tons of items with a 1 stop shop. These sales are usually 1-3 days long and allow you to purchase large quantities of items.

♻️ Shop thrift stores and secondhand bookstores to stock up on books, puzzles, and games. Also, many thrift stores have basic school supplies such as backpacks, binders, sports/dance gear.

♻️ Shop now for winter! Try to estimate what size your child will need, and get their outerwear now at a great price.

When you thrift, you are giving back in more ways than you may ever know. Every purchase is helping someone in our community.

I always say we are blessed to have such wonderful thrifting in Loudoun County. We get beautiful bargains, save money, find unique treasures, and shop sustainably.

But with every purchase you make, every bag of donations you take, no matter how big or small, just know that you have helped someone.💛

When a thrift store gets a glow up remodel, then you go!! Last weekend was my first chance to get to the new in Manassas, and they did not disappoint!

What I love:
➡️ A beautiful, spacious store that is easy to get around. Open spaces make it simple to find your next treasure. Items for everyone- men, women, kids!

➡️ The shoes!!!! As always, they have amazing brands and styles. I was spotting the cutest sandals, boots, sneakers, and heels, all at great prices.

➡️ A large homegoods and home decor area. Loved seeing all the art, furniture, and rugs!

We had an amazing 4th! We had a small group of friends over, cooked burgers & hot dogs on the grill, and I tried to make one of my favorite childhood desserts!

I was obviously dying to wear this dress from , and it was perfect for yesterday!

I sipped straight up Coca Cola all night, and it was delicious!! I know, tons of sugar, but for one night it was so good!!!

I messed up the dessert a little- the graham cracker crust was tough to cut through, but it was all still tasty!

We ended the night with fireworks in the cul-de-sac, courtesy of friend. He picks the best assortment, and we are so lucky to see a wonderful show!
