🌍 CALL FOR STORIES: "Our Nurses Around the World" 🌍True Stories of Compassion, Courage, and Care
An Anthology by McKinley Publishing Hub — Releasing April 12, 2026
McKinley Publishing Hub is honored to announce an upcoming anthology book dedicated to nurses around the world — whether you are a currently practicing nurse, a retired nurse, or a student nurse with a memorable patient encounter that shaped your journey.
We believe every nurse has a story — one that reflects courage, compassion, sacrifice, and strength. Through this book, we want to gather unforgettable moments from nurses across the globe. We invite you to share a scenario or memory you will never forget, and how that moment touched your life and shaped your journey as a nurse.
For student nurses, we welcome stories that highlight key moments from your training — whether it was your first patient, a life-changing encounter during your clinicals, or a meaningful interaction that confirmed your path in nursing. We want to hear the stories that left an indelible mark on your nursing journey.
đź©ş Submission Guidelines:
Please DO NOT submit PDFs — all PDF submissions will be automatically rejected. Please submit in Word format or as a Google Doc.
Submit a story between 400–600 words, written in Times New Roman, font size 11, about a real-life moment or experience as a nurse or student nurse that you will never forget.
Please do not include real names of patients to protect privacy.
Also include a short paragraph about yourself (about 150 words) answering the following:
Your name
A brief bio
How long you’ve been a nurse (or, for student nurses, how far along you are in your training) and what inspired you to become one
Attach a photo of yourself in uniform to be featured alongside your story.

This project is 100% non-profit. McKinley Publishing Hub and the editorial team will not gain any income from this book.
All editing, layout, and publishing efforts are voluntarily provided by MPH to honor and uplift your stories.
No physical or digital copies (PDFs) will be provided to contributors.
By submitting your story, you give us permission to include it in the anthology (final selection is at the discretion of the editorial team).
