GG!! around 60hrs, 1.5 playthroughs.

Game is great. Turn-based combat with auto-battle w/ config. Music is hell yeah! Cutscenes are in anime format.

Questing is kinda similar to Persona series where you have to manage what activity you do day-by-day.

Best Girl-- of course, Hulkenberg!

The ending kinda hint of a sequel but, if it does, it's gonna have to be something very, very different. :)

So... after 185 hours of pain, happiness, sadness, anger, hopelessness etc... I finally managed to attain the prestigious Platinum trophy. :)

I'm gonna say this first and foremost. After experiencing this and everything the game slapped at me, I think TheGameAward's GOTY 2024 is a j.o.k.e. And I'm gonna stop there as it is no secret that I'm a bit biased with SquareEnix and Final Fantasy franchise. :)

As I have mentioned on my first post about FF7 Rebirth, I had this game with me for a year before I got to start playing. The reason being is that I wanted to start this and focus on this alone. I do not want to play this while thinking of other games I'm excited about as I would end up rushing. I'm glad I didn't.

I want to recommend this to everyone but I dont have the face, the voice, nor the 'convincing power' to gaslight/lure anyone into trying this out. haha. So I'll simply say: Guys, try this out. If you can play or have already played FF7 Remake, that would be better too as this is the sequel.

Mini-games! Yes, minigames can be frustrating if all you have in mind is to finish the game quickly. These games are meant for you to enjoy. Succeed or fail and try again. Granted, not every minigame is for everyone. I personally enjoyed Queen's Blood.

Chadley's Combat Simulator! Uhhh. no, let's just not talk about it. Please, I beg.

This game easily became the hardest, most-fulfilling Platinum trophy chase for me so far..

Best Girl -- Tifa Lockhart. Yes, you can love Aerith, and that is fine.. just leave Tifa alone.
Funniest! -- Yuffie. Dude, Yuffie's random humming/singing always make me stop and just listen. It's hilarious.
Scariest monster -- Tonberry King. Just... don't come near me please.
Sexiest monster -- Ohh that fine fine smexy spicy Great Malboro-chan.
Most dangerous summon -- ZANZETSUKEN!! damn you Odin.
Sephiroth -- Hahh.. crazy dude with a 20m long katana.
Cloud -- ...weak.

There are extras worth mentioning.

Kyrie -- she's crazy but she brought comedy at least before Yuffie came along.
Angel of the Slums -- Her story was from FF7 Remake, her quick appearance here.. I think she's really cool.
Priscilla -- The dolphin girl, think she's sweet little lass.
Marlene -- of course.
Cissnei -- Aha, Aerith's rival. hohoho. Cool lass.

If there's one thing I can suggest, maybe more outfits. It doesn't have to sexy... like Suits (like Turks'), or a tonberry outfit or something. Make it a paid DLC, it's fine, it's optional and just cosmetics.

GG Squee! Looking forward to the 3rd one. My vote is that it'll be called FF7 Reunion. hohoho.

Finally started this.. after holding back for almost a year (bought the dang thing last may 29,2024).

And yes, I expect the next 200-250hrs of my gaming time be spent outside Midgar.

AI LIMIT done and cleared! 100% achievements in a total of 27~ish hrs.

Game is actually, actually good. If you have Bloodborne itch then this might just serve that.

Graphics is animated pretty similar to Code Vein. Combat mechanics and feel is like Bloodborne especially parry sound/feel. Story is like any other post-apocalytic setting game in which the apocalypse was cause by, of course, Humans. :D

Also, the game doesn't have a stamina bar/mechanic so you can spam dodge. But it has a different one called "Sync bar".

Side/notable NPCs have dark, sad and heavy lore.

There are also 3 endings that normally takes 2-3 playthroughs to get. But since it's on steam I can use "backup saves" thingy to get all ending in a single playthrough. Although, you'll need a 80% NG+ playthrough to get 1 weapon and 2 spells for the achievements.

Oh and I have to say, this is dev'd by SenseGames, a chinese studio. Yes, as some people are bothered by the dev's race for some reason. You racists.

Anyway, this was an amazing experience. It did satisfy my Bloodborne itch. 10/10.
