Her question stopped me in my tracks….

If you were to put a % to how clean you live, what would it be?

I struggled to be honest with myself…

But finally I said a number and it instantly freed up a lot of shame I had been wrestling with. Who cares what I did in my home? I am just trying to do my best and that was good enough for me.

Try this, maybe putting a number to it and owning it will help you too!🩷

Now I live by the good, better, best policy and feel no shame in where I am. Remember no one can say 100% non toxic. It just doesn’t exist.

“Mom, I think I made some enemies standing up for someone but I don’t regret the mean things I said.” How would you respond to this?

Words are important. Words from God and His prophets, words to others and words to yourself. Choose them carefully. I’m struggling to keep my words uplifting and not gossip and I’m struggling to help my kids know when unkind words are okay. Are they? I don’t know. But, I am getting better at thinking before I talk and being calculated about what I say. 🤍
