The garden also has happy hour every Thursday from 3-11pm

Every Friday & Saturday starting at noon the restaurant offers mansion tea service which is a pre-fixe menu consisting of tea, a mimosa, tea sandwiches, pastries, fresh fruit and dessert.

Good For: brunch, high tea, groups of women, dates

Parking: The Whitney offers valet parking and there are also parking meters in front of the mansion along Woodward Ave

Vibe: Here’s a recap of the Night of Innovation and Bet On Dearborn Resource Expo held on May 13th & 14th.

The Night of Innovation featured a shark tank style pitch competition where business owners were awarded cash prizes to grow and scale their businesses.

The Bet On Dearborn Resource Expo featured vendors sharing helpful tips and resources to local entrepreneurs. Some of the vendors in this years lineup included:

Vibe: Lafayette Greens is an urban garden and art park located in Downtown Detroit. The space is maintained by The Greening of Detroit and was voted best garden in Detroit in 2022.

The garden hosts health classes, yoga, and live music events throughout the summer.

Hours: 9-7pm open weekdays in the summer and 9-5pm open weekdays in the winter

Good For: relaxing, health classes, hosting outdoor events
