Pastor Darren Williams is Gearing Up for a Late-Summer, extended return to Mission & Village Re-construction Assistance in MALAWI, Africa- South of Blantyre, in Chidubah.
In conjunction with local congregation, his own investments, and Mission support world-wide, Darren will return to "Chidubah Rising" , working w Ministers, Agriculturalists, International Aid Workers, Doctors & Teachers .
Pastor Darren Williams has officially "taken a break" from his 4-Year Role and many shifts as Behaviorial Health Assistant (and being a.k.a "Gramma") to the many recovering men in rehabilitation programs @ SET FREE, Alaska, Homer Facility.The course of those myriad duties oversaw, nightly, the Meds, Dining, Schedules, Nightwatch, driving the "Town & Church Bus" runs, and in providing guidance,tolerance and empathy for those coming "out" of Incarceration, improving their lives and returning to work via the confines, progress requirements, and disciplines of Set Free Programs.
As a song written for him stated : " He was The Pastor To / A Buncha- Bad-Dudes !"
"I may return at a later date, to help at Set Free, when I'm back in the USA", said Darren, "But right now I'm focusing on the next Mission to Malawi".
"There are many, many things involved in such a mission-that far away...
Preparing physically & spiritually , major logistics, connections here and internationally, starting with my Family here in Alaska, Summer events in Homer, communication channels, incl fundraising, presentations, congregational meetings, outreach & networking..there's a lot to it ..".
