🌿 Today’s Reading: Genesis 8–10

After the flood, God set the rainbow in the sky as a covenant—a sign that He would never again destroy the earth by water. Humanity began to spread across the earth, nations forming from Noah’s sons. God’s faithfulness marked a fresh beginning.

Life holds seasons of new beginnings, and God’s promises are the anchor that steadies us. His covenant love assures us that even after loss or change, He can bring beauty again.

It’s like planting a garden after winter—at first the ground looks bare, but with time, green shoots appear. God’s promises are the seeds that guarantee new life.

Today, take courage: your God is a Promise-Keeper, and His covenant love surrounds you.

🌿 Today’s Reading: Genesis 4–7

Cain and Abel’s story shows how jealousy can take root, but also how God warns us before sin overtakes us. As violence spread, God chose Noah, a man who walked faithfully with Him, to build the ark and preserve life through the flood. Even in judgment, His mercy provided salvation.

God still calls us to walk faithfully when the world feels dark. When storms rise, He makes a way of refuge. Just as the ark was a place of safety, Jesus is our shelter today.

Think of a storm outside while you sit safe inside. The wind may howl, but the roof protects you. In Christ, we are safe no matter how fierce life’s storms become.

Today, let your heart rest in the One who preserves, protects, and provides.

🌿 Today’s Reading: Genesis 1–3

God spoke the world into being, shaping light, oceans, and living creatures with His word. Humanity was created in His image, meant for relationship with Him and for life in His care. But when Adam and Eve disobeyed, sin fractured creation, bringing shame and separation. Still, God’s mercy clothed their brokenness and hinted at redemption ahead.

Even in our weakest places, God comes searching for us—not to condemn, but to restore. When we feel the urge to hide, He gently calls us out, reminding us that His love is greater than our shame.

It’s like a child who breaks something precious at home. Fear makes them hide, but a loving parent forgives, cleans the mess, and draws them close. That’s God with us—faithful and restoring.

Today, remember: you are made in His image, fully seen, and fully loved. Nothing can separate you from His grace.
