What happens when the noise stops?
When the deadlines fade, the calendar clears, and for the first time in years, you don’t have to rush?
My days once revolved around the clock, long hours, packed weeks, endless motion.
Back then, being busy felt like purpose.
That was my rhythm. I thrived on being busy, useful, and needed. My worth was measured by how much I could do in a day.
Then I quit to build a family.
The deadlines were replaced by nap times, the meetings by milestones. It was a different kind of work. 24/7, no clocking out, no titles, no paycheck. But it was full. My days were always full.
Eventually, the kids grew up.
And for the first time in years, the house got quiet.
I finally had time.
But it didn’t feel freeing. It felt strange. Like I lost a piece of myself in the silence.
So I started freelancing. Then Crumbs Up.
Trying to find purpose again. Trying to fill the hours with something that mattered.
And somewhere in between baking, creating, and rebuilding, I realized something...
Maybe it’s not about filling the time anymore. Maybe it’s about feeling it.
This season, I’m not chasing balance or busyness.
I’m learning to move with rhythm, to build, rest, and grow quietly.
Because growth doesn’t always look like more.
Sometimes, it looks like peace...
Or a slow shopping day with your mini me, just because you finally can.

Have you felt this shift too?
That moment when life finally slows down, and you’re left wondering who you are beyond the doing?
