10 Worries Me The Most!
While studying through 1 Timothy, one verse really stuck with me —1 Tim 6:2
“Teach and urge these things.”
Right after that, Paul warns about people who wander from the truth and spread teachings that don’t line up with the words of Jesus or the gospel that leads to godliness.
It made me pause and think…
Are we hearing the same kinds of things today?
And the answer is — yes, all around us!
In today’s world, some messages sound good, but they quietly pull us away from the heart of God. Messages like:
📛 “God just wants you to be successful and comfortable.”
📛 “It doesn’t matter what you believe, as long as you’re sincere.”
📛 “Everyone ends up in heaven.”
📛 “You don’t need to repent—just be yourself.”
📛 “The church should look like the world to stay relevant.”
But God is always calling us back to Himself!
Not with shame, but with His love in Jesus!
“Return to Me,” says the Lord, “and I will return to you.” (Malachi 3:7)
“Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is near.” (Matthew 4:17)
And the way we stay close to Him is by staying rooted in His Word.
“Study to show yourself approved unto God… rightly handling the word of truth.” (2 Timothy 2:15)
Jesus warned us lovingly, “See to it that no one leads you astray.”
His desire is to protect us—not to restrict us.
🤍 God’s truth isn’t meant to weigh us down — it’s meant to set us free!
And staying grounded in His Word is how we grow, stand firm, and love well in a world full of noise!
💬 Which one of these messages do you think is the most dangerous today?
Let’s talk in the comments—and encourage one another to stay rooted in truth and grace.
