And last, but very certainly not least: In December, we’re wrapping up the Nature’s Stories Fiber Club with “Driftwood”.

In December, Antje from warms our hands and hearts after a long walk on the beach, marvelling at the piles of driftwood on the winter-white sand.

I met Antje at a yarn festival earlier this year, and fell head over heels in love with her jaw-dropping hand-carded batts. One came home with me, and jumped on the wheel right away, and it was such a delight to spin!

She has a wonderful eye for combining colors and different fibers, and will hand-dye and hand-card extra fluffy batts for us for December.

Our third instalment of the Nature’s Stories Fiber Club will hit your doorstep in September - “Flight of the Cranes”!

In September, Rachael from in the UK soars with us through the skies, following the path of the cranes that are migrating South for the winter.

Rachael will work on some extra-special braids in fiber that is local to her – I can’t wait for this treat to be in our hands!

She is amazing at creating saturated, bold colorways and has a passion for both quality and uniqueness. Plus: She’s lovely all around – some of you might have met her as one of our tech editors and test knitting managers, her second career in addition to dyeing yarn and fiber!

Next up is our June theme: “Summer Breeze”!

In June, Lauren from whisks us away on a summer breeze with her delightful, gentle colors on deliciously soft combed tops.

Lauren’s work is absolutely marvellous: She creates the most nuanced colorways with soft transitions that spin up beautifully. As she’s based in the US, we’ll have US-grown and processed fiber from her which I’m so excited about!

I made my first-ever 3ply yarn out of three of her gorgeous braids – still one of my favorite spinning projects of 2024!

It’s time to reveal the four themes for our Nature’s Stories Fiber Club! We’re starting the year off in March with „Spring Eggs“:

will start out the NSFC year with us with an exploration of one of the most cherished aspects of spring: Delicate, slightly freckled bird eggs.

She will hand-dyed fiber and card it into rolags that are just as delicate, yet incredibly delightful to spin up.

Maria is a hand-dyer and hand-carder from Germany, and I’ve had the pleasure of working with her rolags on my wheel (and you might have too – we have carried her in the shop before) so I know how absolutely marvellous they are!

I am so excited it’s finally December - I love the twinkling lights of this time of the year, the promise of cookies and time with family, and the rest the comes in the last week of this month. This year, December delights me for another reason as well: I followed my heart and gut in putting together something that wasn’t on the cards for us for next year, but that I really, really wanted to do: Our first fiber club, the Nature’s Stories Fiber Club.

The Nature’s Stories Fiber Club is a quarterly fiber subscription box that’s running throughout 2025.

If you join the club, you’ll get a box with the amount of fiber you choose (more on that below) in March, June, September, and December. The fiber has been custom-dyed - in some cases, custom-carded too! - for us in an exclusive colorway inspired by the quarter’s theme and moodboard.

For each quarter, I’ve selected a dyer whose work I love and who I know is fabulous at dyeing and preparing fiber. And to make it extra special, I chose people who are working with different fiber preparations, so you get to try different things, not only in terms of color, throughout the club!

March: Spring Eggs – is dyeing fiber and carding up fabulous rolags for us.

June: Summer Breeze – Lauren from is working her magical soft colors onto combed tops.

September: Flight of the Cranes – Rachael from takes us away with her bold, beautiful braids.

December: Driftwood – Antje from warms us with some of the best batts I’ve seen.

Subscriptions for the Nature’s Stories Fiber Club open on December 4 and close on December 11. There will be no additional opening of the club throughout 2025! If you want to join, you need to do so between December 4 and 11.

The best way to stay up to date with the opening of the Nature’s Stories Fiber Club is our waitlist. It’s where I’ll be sending the notification when it opens first, and I might have a surprise or two for waitlist members throughout the year.

As our Black Week Special is getting closer, I’d love to share with you what we’ll have on offer! I personally find it really useful when shops do that so that I can plan my purchase ahead of time ☺️

First up: spinning fiber! We’ll have some gorgeous hand-dyed braids by on sale -
her Shetland, Suffolk and Jacob’s breed-specific braids are amazing! I love the depth of the colors in all of these, and they spin up beautifully. (I know because I’ve had the Suffolk on my wheel recently!)

In addition to that, our remaining braids of Appledore fiber will also be on sale so that we can make room for some new colors!

Our Black Week Special will go live on November 25 at 9am CET for the Collective and noon CET for everyone else.

Our annual Black Week Sale is almost here, and I’m really excited for this one as it’s the first time we’ll have spinning fiber available in the sale!

🧶Sweater Weather Shop Update: Nov 6, 9am CET | noon CET 🧶

Cozying up in a boxy, super comfortable sweater that I knit while working away on a current sweater WIP is perfection to me. It feels like a gentle hug – wearing something that I made while knitting on an exciting new thing that will also keep me warm!

This is what inspired our next shop update theme – Sweater Weather. I want to invite you to dream of sweater knitting, of wearing warm hugs, of stitching away while wearing memories. Now, what do you need to make that happen? Yarn. Really good sweater yarn.

Over the course of the past 10 years of knitting with sustainable yarns, I have come across a few yarns that make their way on my needles over and over again. My tried-and-tested yarns, my deserted-island yarns, my recommend-to-a-new-knitting-friend yarns – and those are the ones that we’ll be celebrating in our Sweater Weather update!

Now, for sweaters, you usually need more than a couple of skeins, and so our Sweater Weather update comes with something new to us: A sweater quantity discount! If you purchase 4 or more skeins of any combination of our Sweater Weather yarns, you get 20% off your yarn purchase.

Way back in July, I launched the preorders for our 2024 Winter Box – handmade. I learnt from last year that quite a few of you would have really liked to order a Winter Box, but it wasn’t in the cards so early in the year, so for this year, I intentionally kept a few aside for an in-stock update!

I’m launching the last 8 of these gorgeous boxes next week on Wednesday, October 23. As always, our Collective members get first dibs at 9am CEST, followed by everyone else at noon CEST.

Each box includes

- 100g of yarn (DK or Fi*****ng weight) or fiber - your choice! - hand-dyed in a beautiful custom colorway called “Sunbaked” by
