One of my biggest losses in crypto? Copy trading. Here’s what I wish I knew sooner (Ft. Bitget):

1. It’s not passive income. You can earn without lifting a finger—but you can also lose everything just as fast.

2. 100% win rate? Red flag. Some traders don’t close losing trades just to keep their stats clean.

3. Know the basics. Margin. Leverage. Stop loss. Take profit. If you don’t understand it, don’t copy it.

4. Use risk management. Blind trust leads to blown accounts. Always protect your capital.

5. Trust your gut. If something feels off, close the trade. No trade is better than a bad trade.

6. Pick real over perfect. Follow traders who show both wins and losses. Transparency beats hype every time.

Right now, I’m back into copy trading—and I’m happy to say I finally found an ethical and transparent trader: Yu Icarus Trader. I’m sitting with gains again, but I won’t let myself be blinded by past mistakes.
