As neither a Democrat or Republican, it is pretty sad to see that grown adults know it’s wrong to attack children and mock them for their personality / potential spectrum (Baron Trump) or for their disabilities (Gus Walz) and yet they would justify it with the juvenile argument of “well they started it.”

What happened to being the bigger (better) person?

Civility is dead and THAT is what is killing this country. Being right and looking out for your own self interests has replaced doing what is right and serving our fellow man.

We all have excuses for our bad behavior, rather than being the example for what we all know a decent human being looks like.

It’s a byproduct of the entitled sh*ts that a vast majority of the country has become (and sorry, it isn’t all “these kids today.” It’s a healthy dose of adults today, too); the, “what’s in it for me?” mentality that permeates blogs, podcasts and general social media.

And if you call yourself a Christian, but find yourself in the “what’s in it for me?” group, come and talk to me about Christianity, but a warning first that you’re not going to like what I have to say.

Be better. Do better. The time is yours to make this world better than when we got here - but the clock is ticking and time is moving quicker today than it ever has before…

Biden needs to go! But was that the point? The lack of leadership and action the last few months have shown he is incapable of handling this position and it’s hurting people, hurts our image as a nation and he is separating us from our allies. He was a clear puppet from the beginning, with what seems more and more like an agenda to get Harris in office, should he be seen as unfit.

Trump had to go. His manic behavior the last few years had shown he was incapable of handling this position and he was hurting people, hurting our image as a nation and has separated us from our allies… all while making us look so stupid as he ignored experts in medicine, war, education and anyone who has ever read a book.

So both our parties failed us. Continue to fail us. But more importantly, we failed as people.

We cheer on our team like mindless sheep. We call out one leader, while we cheered the other on for the same actions. Triggered by buzz words, and manipulated in simple ways straight out of a psych 101 text book.

This mess falls on us and our inability to change. We put these men here with our actions, or lack there of. We are not a great nation any more. We haven’t been for decades. The rest of the world is growing, maturing and surpassing us. And the only strong hand we had (war)… well we just showed our bluff.

But we rather go down with a 300 year old ship instead of restoring or build new. The world sees us polishing this turd and trying to pass it off as a diamond. We are only fooling ourselves.
