Like many Scots, and I don't profess to speak for all, I will tomorrow Monday the 19th of September 2022 be doing what I might normally be doing.
That is to say I will be trying to navigate a course that avoids the disastrous economic and cultural impacts English colonial dominion continues to gift my country.
I am neither in celebration nor mourning.
I am however disappointed that an unelected medieval institution based on elitism, privilege and when necessary brute force, is, in the 21st centaury, still seen by some as a progressive model around which to build a just and equitable democracy.
I shall take time however at some point in the day to read again the following article, I recommend it to you.
