To our fellow festival, Tomorrowland 💙
This weekend, as we open our gates here in Somerset, we’re reminded that we share something very special... not just a weekend on the calendar, but a deep love for the magic that only a festival can bring.
We know the graft that goes into planning an event like this… albeit ours is on a much smaller scale, but we still share the long hours, the tiring tasks, the last-minute panics, the crew laughter, and the moments where we step back and realise it was all worth it 🥲 So, when we saw the heartbreaking news about your stunning main stage being lost before opening, well, we couldn't believe what we were seeing. The love, the creativity, and the sheer scale... it was breathtaking. We’ve included a photo below, because something built with that much care deserves to be seen and celebrated, no matter what 💔
What you’ve done today, opening your gates regardless, and welcoming people with open arms and big hearts, it's nothing short of inspiring. You’ve reminded us, and the world, that festivals aren’t just about the structures we build.
They’re about the spirit we share.
So, from one small but mighty festival to another: we see you. We’re cheering you on. And we wish you the best of luck for the weekend ahead 💪
