Let's address the elephant in the room.
Today Games Workshop released that they have the "Arena of Death" battle report on Warhammer+ in a format that will feel very familiar if you've seen any of our 40k in 40 Sec shorts that we've been posting daily for around a year now.

It should be no suprise that I woke up to an absolute barrage of inboxes, tags, and comments about this.

No, we are not apart of the series (we would love to be!)

No, we weren't sent a cease and desist from Games Workshop

No, we won't be sending a cease and desist to Games Workshop

While some of you may feel that it's a little "too close for comfort" and "feels like a big company squashing the little guy" it's actually incredibally validating for me.
A format and rules amendment that we made has been recognised by one of the biggest miniature gaming companies in the world and loved the idea so much that they've included it into their platform.

Admittedly in full transparency when I first saw it I was a little annoyed. I've reached out to GW a few times in hope of becoming part of their support content creator pool but at the time of this post I haven't recieved anything back and then they rebrand my format but then that wave of rationality hit and I felt like I had actually been noticed enough for them to take the idea and run with it.

There is nothing but love here
