Pan Grilled Basil Chicken Thighs.
Ingredients:
A. For the Marinate:
- salt
- ground pepper
- finely chopped fresh basil (alternative can be powdered basil 1 tablespoon for 1/2 kilo).
B. For the Glaze
- 1 teaspoon of Oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon of soysauce
- 2 tablespoon of smoked honey
Cooking process:
1. Oil your pan and heat it.
2. Once the pan is hot, add your chicken thighs, skin up.
3. Let the thighs other side to cook for 5 mins. While waiting for the 5 mins, glaze the skin side of the chicken thighs.
4. After 5 mins flip the chicken thighs and wait for another 5 mins, and glaze the other side.
5. After 5 mins, flip again the chicken and let it heat for another 3-4 mins.
6. Once done, plate it and garnish with some fresh lemon that you can squeeze for added flavor, and fresh basil leaves on top.
7. Serve with warm rice. Enjoy!
