Another voice that shapes the journey through Alone Against the Tide is that of Amelia Harper. She speaks softly, but every word carries weight – and the quiet ache of things left unsaid...

We’re pleased to introduce Leia Gripencreutz, who lends her voice to Amelia Harper – a woman caught between sorrow and secrecy. Outside of this role, Leia is part of the Sound Realms team, working behind the scenes on digital marketing and community engagement. While relatively new to voice acting, her background in streaming, podcasting, and narrative-driven content creation makes her no stranger to the rhythm of storytelling. She previously voiced a character in The Fortress of Death and brings that same instinct for atmosphere and pacing into this role.

In the fog-draped streets of Alone Against the Tide, some figures are best approached with caution… even if they’re wearing a badge. We’re pleased to introduce Darren W. Pearce, who brings the voice of Officer Powell to life. Gruff, no-nonsense, and never one to waste words, Officer Powell is the kind of man who mostly follows the rules – but always on his own terms.

This marks Darren’s first venture into voice acting, but he’s no stranger to characters. With over 40 years of experience voicing roles in tabletop games – both in a personal and professional capacity – Darren steps into the role with a great familiarity brought by practice behind the screen. Beyond the microphone, Darren W. Pearce is a seasoned fiction author and game designer, with a body of work spanning the worlds of Doctor Who, Warhammer 40K, Judge Dredd, Shadow of the Demon Lord, and more.

Whether crafting rules or writing worlds, Darren has spent decades exploring strange places and now, he’s lending his voice to one of ours. 🎧

We’re thrilled to introduce Kristin Holland, the narrator guiding you through the dread of this tale. With a delivery that is calm yet quietly uncanny, Kristin draws you in – not with force, but with something far more compelling: atmosphere.

Kristin Holland is a voice artist, performer, and the creator of the acclaimed horror podcast Nocturnal Transmissions, where he writes, performs, and produces stories for listeners who prefer something eerie to sound in their ears. His voice work also features in A Voice from Darkness, and his screen credits include titles like The Pacific, City Homicide, and The Sunset Six among others. With a creative background spanning music, visual art, and acting, Kristin brings a distinctive presence to the world of Alone Against the Tide.

We’re excited to welcome Samuel Larsson to the team as our new Art Director and Producer. ⚔️ Some of you may already recognize him as the illustrator behind The Fortress Of Death, and while he’s been part of our creative world from the start, he now joins us in a new and expanded role.

Samuel has been building visual worlds for as long as he can remember. He began with comics and illustration before moving into the game industry, where he helped shape artistic visions as a Graphic Artist and Art Director on both computer and console titles.

His path has always been guided by a deep love of storytelling, creativity, and world-building. That passion is fueled by a lifelong fascination with fantasy, history, and horror – elements that now influence the tone and atmosphere of our upcoming titles. When he’s not bringing these worlds to life on screen, you’ll likely find him at a tabletop, dice in hand, immersed in roleplaying games, miniature battles, or solo adventures.

We’re proud to have Samuel on board and we can’t wait for you to experience the incredible work he’ll be part of in the Sound Realms stories ahead. 🎧

What an experience became for Sound Realms, thank you all for an amazing weekend! 🐲

We got to meet many of our existing community members, while also welcoming new ones - such a thighlight! We also got to demo some games, hand out collector cards to brave adventurers and in general enjoy the energy and buzz the convention had to offer! See you next year 🎲
