Step-by-step fungal toenail care routine

Step 1 — Clean Wash your feet with warm water and soap, then dry the toes thoroughly, especially around and under the nails.

Step 2 — Soak Soak the affected foot in warm water with a little baking soda for about 10–15 minutes. Rinse and dry completely.

Step 3 — Gently file Using a clean nail file, gently thin/remove loose, thickened nail material. Do not dig under the nail or file until it hurts.

Step 4 — Apply Vicks Apply a small amount of Vicks VapoRub directly to the affected nail and around the nail edges.

Step 5 — Tea tree oil If your skin tolerates it, apply properly diluted tea tree oil to the nail. Don't use undiluted tea tree oil on broken or irritated skin.

Step 6 — Keep it dry Wear clean, breathable socks and change them whenever they become sweaty or damp. Keep shoes dry and avoid sharing nail clippers or towels.

Step 7 — Be consistent Repeat the routine regularly. Fungal toenails don't clear in one day—healthy nail growth can take several months.

⚠️ Skip the lemon if your skin is sensitive or cracked, as lemon juice can irritate the skin. Also, home remedies aren't a proven cure for toenail fungus; persistent or severe infection is best assessed by a healthcare professional.

🧼 Dirty Tile Grout Cleaning

1. Mix the paste
In a small bowl, add:

½ cup baking soda

1 tablespoon dish soap

¼ cup warm water

Mix until you get a thick, spreadable paste. If it’s too runny, add a little more baking soda.

2. Apply to the grout
Spread the paste directly over the dirty grout lines using a small brush or old toothbrush.

3. Scrub
Gently scrub along the grout lines, paying extra attention to the darkest areas.

4. Let it sit
Leave the paste on for about 5–10 minutes to help loosen the dirt.

5. Wipe away
Use a clean, damp microfiber cloth to wipe away the paste and loosened dirt.

6. Rinse
Wipe the area again with clean water to remove any remaining soap or baking soda.

7. Dry & reveal ✨
Dry the tiles with a clean cloth and show the bright, cleaner grout.

Important: Test the mixture on a small hidden area first, especially if your tiles or grout are delicate or natural stone.
