Comedian Edward Tripp will be joining A Press of Suspects presents in the studio at 10:30 tomorrow morning!

Edward Tripp is an award winning Irish performance poet, comedian, visual artist and former Bard of Exeter. His recent surreal, genre-bending, stand-up poetry show "No Man is an Ireland" has received widely positive response from critics and audience members alike. The show debuted at the Edinburgh fringe festival and is currently on tour all over the UK.

Dr Evelina Valionyte, Researcher at University of Plymouth's Peninsula Medical School will be joining us on air to talk about her research in the prevention of Neurodegeneration, the condition responsible for conditions such as Alzheimer's, Parkinson's and Huntington's.

Dr Evelina Valionyte is Research Fellow in Molecular Cell Biology/Neuroscience currently working at Derriford Research Facility of University Hospitals Plymouth NHS Trust. Her research focuses on the process of selective autophagy (nerve cell recycling process), particularly in the context of ageing and neurodegeneration.

Beth Tiner, Lead Practitioner from Plymouth Dance discusses the exciting professional contemporary dance training scheme "Plymouth Youth Dance Company," delivered jointly by Barbican Theatre, Far Flung C.I.C., Plymouth Dance, and Theatre Royal Plymouth.

PYDC is an exciting addition to the existing youth dance offers in the city, paving the way for young dancers interested in further study and/or a career in dance to be a dance company member, develop their technical and creative skills, and take their dance training to a whole new level.

Philly Rule is the Artistic Director for PYDC. Philly is a freelance Dance Artist from Devon and a Middlesex University Graduate. She has been facilitating, producing and delivering contemporary and creative movement experiences in community and educational settings nationwide for over 7 years.
