Πόση υποκρισία αντέχει κάθε 19η Μαΐου; Τιμούμε τη μνήμη, αλλά αποφεύγουμε την αλήθεια. Να τεθεί επιτέλους ψήφισμα στη Βουλή των Ελλήνων για την επίσημη αναγνώριση της γενοκτονίας των Ποντίων από την ίδια την Ελλάδα — όχι ΜΟΝΟ ως ημέρα μνήμης. Η σιωπή 106 ετών προσβάλλει τα θύματα και τους απογόνους τους. Έτσι επαναλαμβάνονται τα εγκλήματα στην Ιστορία.
Δεν έχει γίνει ρητά και επίσημα αναγνώριση της γενοκτονίας των Ποντίων. Το ψήφισμα του 1994 αφορά σε καθιέρωση ημέρας μνήμης κάθε 19 Μαΐου και αφορά τους Πόντιους αφού στις 19 Μαΐου 1919 αποβιβάστηκε ο Κεμάλ στη Σαμψούντα.
