The Legacy Project is the ongoing work of Jim Copple — a respected voice in public policy, faith, education, and justice. Through vlogs, podcasts, and daily reflections, Jim explores the legacies we inherit and the ones we choose to create — rooted not in material wealth, but in values that shape communities and change lives.
Raised in Kansas City and Seattle, Jim’s path has taken him from the pulpits of Boston to the frontlines of global HIV/AIDS work. He holds a Master of Divinity degree, with doctoral work in the history of education and Christianity, and has spent decades working on substance abuse prevention, crime reduction, youth engagement, and international development.
Jim is the founder of a government relations and grant writing firm, serving a diverse network of clients around the world. He’s also a sought-after speaker and facilitator, known for his storytelling, depth of thought, and moral clarity.
A proud husband, father of eight, and grandfather to nineteen, Jim’s life is rooted in family, faith, and a deep commitment to justice and service. Whether he's reflecting on today’s political moment or sharing stories from the road, Jim’s work is a call to action — to live with purpose and leave something meaningful behind.
