With Wakanda Forever out, we wanted to take a moment to celebrate the intricate world of Wakanda created by Hannah Beachler. ⁠

Did you know Hannah created a 400-page pitch book, a 4×8 foot mood board with references and illustrations, and spent $12,000 of her own money to hire a concept illustrator for the Black Panther movie? Her presentation more than convinced Marvel executives, who awarded her the job with a $30 million art department budget⁠
