Let's make Kababayan Bread | SARAPlicious recipe.

Aside from the kalihim and pan de coco, this Kababayan Bread is also my favorite to buy in our neighborhood bakery. I love eating this for snacks or breakfast. It's easy to bake too.

*Procedure:
1. Combine and sift the dry ingredients - flour, baking powder, and soda.
2. In another bowl, whisk egg and sugar. Add the other ingredients and mix.
3. Add half of the flour mixture. Mix well and combine the remaining flour.
4. Pour in the greased pan, filling 3/4 of the mold.
5. Bake at 200C for the first 10 minutes, then lower the temperature to 160C and bake for another 15 minutes.
6. When it's done, let it cool.
7. Enjoy with coffee or your preferred drink.

Let's cook a simple version of Ginisang Munggo | SARAPlicious recipe.

We published different versions of this recipe - one with coconut cream, turmeric, and pan-grilled belly, accompanied by a variety of vegetable leaves, including malunggay, dahon ng sili, and dahon ng ampalaya. This is probably the basic and simplest version of it.

1. Sauté garlic until lightly browned.
2. Add the meat and pork cube. Cover to cook.
3. Put the onion, ground black pepper, and tomatoes.
4. Combine the mung beans. Pour water and stir. Cover to cook until it softens.
5. Check the doneness and adjust the taste, if needed.
6. Add the crushed chicharon. Mix.
7. Lastly, add the malunggay and dahon ng sili. Simmer, then turn off the heat.
8. Serve with steamed rice and anything fried. Enjoy!

This muffin gained fame in a popular tourist spot here in the Philippines, so we decided to bake it. This can be enjoyed as a snack, dessert, or breakfast, and is suitable for consumption at any time of day.

2. Prepare the dry ingredients - all-purpose flour, baking soda, and powder.
3. Combine the wet and dry ingredients and mix.
4. Fill the muffin liner with 2 scoops of batter.
5. Bake at 190C for 25 minutes.
6. Make the calamansi syrup. Let it cool.
7. Brush the muffin top or dip the muffin in the calamansi syrup.
8. Serve with the favorite drink and enjoy!

Let's grill pork belly - this is our Pork BBQ using Barbecue Seasoning Mix.

I started this recipe mix series since my brother gave me a lot. This time, I want to try this barbecue flavor mix. I normally make my own BBQ marinade, and this makes it easier for me. I cooked Java rice to go with it, as it is the best partner for it.
