Let's cook another vegetable dish - our Ampalaya with Tausi & Tokwa | SARAPlicious recipe.

I have never eaten ampalaya before. But when I learned to diminish its bitter taste, I learned to love it. This recipe is simple yet delicious. It is very easy to cook, and it pairs best with anything fried or grilled.

*Procedure:
1. Prepare the sauce.
2. Soak the ampalaya in salted water for twenty minutes.
3. Wash the tausi to lessen its saltiness.
4. Sauté garlic, onion, and tomatoes.
5. Add the tausi, ground black pepper, and ginger powder.
6. Pour the sauce. Let it simmer.
7. Add the ampalaya. Cover to cook.
8. Adjust the taste by adding soy sauce as needed.
9. Lastly, combine the tokwa. Mix, then turn off the heat.
10. Serve with steamed rice! Enjoy!

Let's make a Soft Milk Loaf / Bread, SARAPlicious version using the Yudane method.

Lately, my husband and I have been into baking, more specifically, breads. We alternate between pandesal and dinner rolls, but we have not baked loaf bread. So my husband made this recipe, and the result is soft and fluffy bread.

Try our Soft Milk Loaf / Bread. You will love it!

Ingredients:
â–º Yudane Paste: 45 grams boiled water / 45 grams bread flour
â–º Dough: 400 grams bread flour / 178 grams full cream milk / 134 grams water / 44 grams white sugar / 45 grams margarine / 7 grams salt / 7 grams instant dry yeast

Procedure:
1. Make the Yudane paste. Allow to cool at room temperature.
2. Combine the dough ingredients and Yudane paste. Knead for 10 minutes.
3. Proof for 50 minutes.
4. Equally divide into 4 dough balls.
5. Cover and let it rest for 15 minutes.
6. Deflate the dough balls and flatten with a rolling pin.
7. Roll to form a log.
8. Arrange and place in a greased loaf pan. Proof for an hour.
9. Cover the loaf pan with its lid. Bake at 200 °C for 40 minutes.
10. After baking, while still hot, remove the bread from the pan.
11. Let it cool, then slice. Enjoy!

It's a good day to make another SARAPlicious snack recipe - this is our Cinnamon Sugar Donut Balls Recipe.

This is one of my favorite snacks to buy in the bakery (the bigger one). The simpler, the better and to add another flavor, I put cinnamon powder with sugar. It tastes as good as the plain sugared donut.

Let's make another version of Adobo sa Atsuete, SARAPlicious recipe using pork.

The first recipe we published used vinegar and soy sauce. This time, I used only vinegar. In addition, I did not use much sauce, but only its own oil. This is really delicious and savory.

1. Sauté onion and garlic.
2. Combine the pork.
3. Add atsuete water, black peppercorns, bay leaves, and pork cube. Simmer.
4. Put chili flakes and vinegar. Mix, then simmer until pork is tender.
5. Adjust the taste by adding salt.
6. When the liquid is gone and what's left is its own oil, this is done.
7. Serve with steamed rice. Enjoy!

The last recipe we made combined sardines with misua. This time, we used sotanghon noodles and pechay. It is very simple, budget-friendly, and easy to cook.

1. Prepare the ingredients.
2. Heat oil in a large pan.
3. Sauté garlic, onions, and tomatoes.
4. Combine the sardines. Add ground black pepper and fish sauce. Mix gently, preventing the sardines from breaking. Cover and simmer.
5. Check the taste. Add the sotanghon noodles. Be sure to submerge in the sauce.
6. Add the pechay, then cover.
7. Check and mix. Add water as the sotanghon absorbs it. Taste again. Adjust by adding fish sauce.
8. When the taste is good, turn off the heat.
9. Serve and Enjoy with steamed rice.

My mom or Nanay (as we call her) passed away in 2020. She would have loved this, and while making this bread, I thought of her. This is simple and easy to prepare.

6. Slice bananas and cover with the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
7. Place on top. Bake at 180C for 1 hour.
8. Let it cool. Enjoy with coffee or tea.

5. Combine the pork liver. Add the garbanzos and red bell pepper strips.
6. Simmer again then turn off the heat.
7. Serve with steamed rice. Enjoy!
