From Michelle Halket, Publisher: "We have been on an acquisitions tear lately, but when Ari came to me with this project, I knew I had to snap it up. Ari is a consummate professional, uber talented, and then packs a triple punch by having a large and engaged following. This book is deeply personal, much like her viral posts of late, and while she gets into deep and dark topics, she brings a lightness to them that fills the reader with empathy and understanding. She makes poetry accessible and honest, and I'm thrilled to be publishing our third book together. I'm just sad we have to wait this long to get it out into the world!"

From Michelle Halket, Publisher: "During our open submissions earlier this year, this book really stood out. Written by one of the most well-travelled and interesting young women I've met, this compelling collection weaves mysticism with fish husbandry, nature and conservation. Living in the Pacific Northwest has given me an appreciation for the fishing industry and the overwhelming majesty and power of the ocean and the creatures who live in it. This collection captures everything I love about the PNW in carefully chosen and beautifully crafted verse. I'm so proud to be working with Maaike to bring this book to the world."

From Michelle Halket, Publisher: "When this pitch came in, I was immediately intrigued. Chloe is a well followed and experienced medium and Tarot reader. But what I loved about her was her energy, and how that translated to her poetry which she wrote as a therapy - not just for herself, but for others. Her willingness to meet people where they are, either through poetry or the metaphysical, is what drew me in. As an avid believer in powers that we can't necessarily see IRL, I'm excited to be publishing a book that combines my love of both poetry and the spiritual."

From Michelle Halket, Publisher: “Harman Kaur’s Call Me Home has been our breakout book of the year, and when I found out she was writing her next book, I immediately asked if she’d consider publishing with us again. Thankfully she said yes! Harman is a consummate professional and writes with such tenderness, love, and immediacy about her home, culture, family, and experiences that I’m truly honoured and so looking forward to publishing this book.”

From Michelle Halket, Publisher: “We have been so fortunate to have had so many stellar books submitted to us during our most recent round of open poetry submissions. It was part of the reason it took us so long to make all our acquisitions! Maha has actually been a finalist in our Poetry Prize for a few years, so signing this poet who also is so active in the poetry community both on and offline wasn’t a hard decision. Maha is a talented and hardworking woman who brings a unique voice. I’m honored to have her as part of the family.”
