From Michelle Halket, Publisher: “We hold open poetry submissions about once a year and we tend to see some names that we already know. They might be colleagues, or poets published by other houses, or simply friendly faces from socials. And what a joy it is when one of those from the latter category happens to pen a simply beautiful book. The Apple of Their Throats is that book. Kevin and I have known each other for years and I have admired from afar all that he has accomplished in the BookTok and Bookstagram world and now we get to work together on his poetry collection. Summer 2026 can’t come soon enough, as I can’t wait for everyone else to read his work.”
