A meeting of the District Level Task Force Committee (DLTFC) on Jammu and Kashmir Rural Employment Generation Programme (JKREGP) was held under the chairmanship of District Development Commissioner Harvinder Singh to review and approve loan cases under the scheme.

The meeting was attended by District Program Officer, S. Parmjeet Singh; CPO Manesh Kumar Manhas; District Social Welfare Officer Tariq Qazi; ALC Nehal Pandit; ARTO Sheetal Sharma; Zonal Manager JK Bank, representatives from the District Industries Centre (DIC), Employment Department, SBI, J&K Bank, Polytechnic College, and other concerned departments.

Rajesh Kumar, the Additional Director General (ADG) of the Jammu and Kashmir Zone of CRPF, visited the Headquarters of 33 Battalion in Sarna, Bhaderwah, to assess the operational readiness of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) in the Doda district.

During the visit, ADG Kumar was accompanied by Gopalakrishna Rao, Inspector General (IG) of the Jammu Sector, and Vivek Bhandal, Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIGP) of Operations, Jammu North.

Together, they reviewed the security situation and held a security meeting with senior officials, including SSP Doda and other police and CRPF officers.

The Chairperson, District Development Council (DDC) Kishtwar, Pooja Thakur, presided over the Quarterly General Council Meeting at the Conference Hall of the DC Office Complex, Kishtwar.

At the outset, CEO General Council/ADDC Pawan Kotwal extended a warm welcome to all council members and outlined the objectives of the meeting.

A training session on the Integrated Road Accident Database (iRAD) Project was conducted at the conference hall of the DC office complex Doda.

The iRAD project, an initiative of the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH) and funded by the World Bank, aims to enhance road safety across the country.
