Bharti Airtel announced that its anti-fraud measures have reduced customer financial losses by 68.7% and overall cybercrime incidents by 14.3%, according to data from the Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre (I4C), Ministry of Home Affairs.
Since launching India’s first network-based AI spam detection solution in September 2024, Airtel has blocked over 48.3 billion spam calls and 3.2 lakh fraudulent links. In May 2025, it introduced a world-first service to detect and block malicious links in real time, free for all Airtel users.
Vice Chairman & MD Gopal Vittal said Airtel will continue to innovate and collaborate with authorities to eliminate spam and financial frauds from its network.
