Sumala sa DOST-PAGASA, magsugod na sa alas 11:00 sa buntag ang pagpagawas sa mga Tropical Cyclone Bulletins aron sa pinakahinongdanong update bahin sa lihok ug kalig-on ni Tino.

Gihangyo ang tanan nga magpabilin nga alerto ug mag-monitor sa mga pahibalo gikan sa PAGASA ug sa ilang lokal nga disaster councils aron andam kung mosamot ang bagyo o mosangko kini sa yuta.

DSWD extends aid to 537 families in Mandaue, calls for flood prevention.

The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) 7 has extended relief assistance to 537 affected families in Barangay Umapad, Mandaue City following flooding in the area.

While relief efforts continue, the DSWD also reminded the public that true recovery goes beyond immediate response.

DSWD 7 emphasized the importance of community participation in disaster prevention especially keeping our surroundings clean to avoid clogged waterways.

“Floods may bring challenges, but together we can rise above them. A clean community is a safe community,” Tonyson Luther Lee , DSWD 7 ARD, urging residents to take part in protecting the environment as a safeguard for future generations.

Explosion Rocks Bon Chon Restaurant in Tagbilaran; No Casualties Reported

TAGBILARAN CITY – An early morning explosion hit the soon-to-open Bon Chon restaurant near Shakey’s and Kenny Rogers in Dampas at around 2:15 a.m. Friday, August 15, causing a total blackout from Dampas to Capitol Valley.

The power outage lasted for nearly an hour, with electricity restored at 3:10 a.m., according to local reports.

Debris and shattered glass were scattered across the area, prompting immediate clearing operations. Authorities have confirmed there were no casualties in the incident, as the establishment was closed at the time of the explosion.

Investigators are still determining the cause of the blast, which marks the third fire-related incident in the city in recent months.

Residents and business owners are advised to regularly check electrical connections, ensure proper fire safety compliance, and verify that neighboring establishments have the necessary business permits.

Officials also urged the public to avoid the affected area until clearing works are completed.
