Jon from TBRC attended the RCACF Florida Jet Together in Apopka, FL (his hometown, actually!) with a bunch of really awesome and talented pilots showing off their turbine jets. Last second gear drops are a specialty of TBRC, this time featuring the Freewing SR-71 Blackbird. It's tough to pull this off, but totally worth it!

The Freewing Ares is a one trick gimmick of a plane. It hovers really well and does wing rocky harriers. Otherwise it's kinda meh compared to the FMS Avanti 90mm with thrust vectoring. As far as gimmicks go, though, this is one hell of a gimmick!

Sometimes we mess up, like this tail strike with the Rafale 80mm. Thankfully, model aircraft don't sustain any real damage from tail strikes, unlike full scale aircraft, unless you're really slamming it in. The Blackbird in the second segment also suffered from this, too.
