PAID Casting Call: "The Nutcracker Wish" – A Christmas Romantic Comedy

Location: Salt Lake City, UT and surrounding areas.
Logline: After 35 year old Clara is gifted a ‘magical’ Nutcracker, the living version shows up at her front door. But what seemed a holiday serendipity may instead destroy her family legacy.
Character Breakdown:
1.Aunt Drosselyn (Female Supporting, 50-70, Caucasian) Clara’s quirky and mysterious aunt with a flair for the eccentric. She has a deep knowledge of magic and family lore, often guiding Clara with her unpredictable wisdom.
2. Margo (Female Supporting, 25-35, any ethnicity)Clara’s childhood nemesis who has a competitive spirit. Margo is ambitious, confident, and sometimes comes off as condescending.
3. Katie (Female Supporting Lead, 13-16, Caucasian/Hispanic)
Quick witted and genuine, sometimes filled with teenage angst. Looks up to Clara, her dance teacher, as a mentor and ‘big sister’. Katie brings youthful comedic relief to the story. A strong dance background is a plus.
