PV News Bandipora – Public Appeal

At this sensitive time, when war-like tensions are ongoing between Iran and Israel, and reports have emerged regarding an attack on the Supreme Leader of Iran, Ayatollah Sayyid Ali Khamenei Ali Khamenei, we request the people of Jammu & Kashmir—especially in the Kashmir Division—to maintain peace and stability.

This conflict is taking place outside our region. We must not allow external events to disturb harmony in our homeland.
We appeal to everyone:
If you wish to protest, do so peacefully and within the framework of law.
Do not engage in stone pelting.

Do not block roads or disturb public movement.
Do not cause inconvenience or harm to others.

Such actions only damage our own society, careers, and future. Violence and lawlessness are not the path of educated and responsible citizens.
Please control emotions and act wisely. Always follow the laws of our country. If anyone is arrested for unlawful activities, it can negatively affect their education, employment, and long-term career.

Let us protect peace in Jammu & Kashmir.

Let us choose wisdom over anger.

Let us stand for unity, dignity, and lawful conduct.

Fire Incidents in HMT Srinagar and Bandipora Main Market.

Press Statement / Appeal.

It is very unfortunate that early this morning a major fire incident broke out in two areas of Kashmir — HMT Srinagar and Bandipora Main Market.
Due to this devastating fire, several shops and business establishments were badly damaged, causing huge financial losses to traders and shopkeepers.
By the grace of Almighty Allah, no loss of human life has been reported, which is a great relief. However, many families whose livelihood depends on these businesses have suffered 100% economic loss, and their years of hard work have been destroyed within a few hours.

Appeal to Government
I, Ishfaq Khanday,
President – The Justice for Human Rights, District Bandipora, respectfully appeal to the Government of Jammu and Kashmir and the concerned district administration to:
1.Conduct an immediate assessment of the damage caused by the fire.
2.Provide special financial relief and compensation to the affected shopkeepers and families.
3.Ensure rehabilitation support for those who have lost their only source of livelihood.
4.Strengthen fire safety and emergency response systems in markets and commercial areas to prevent such incidents in the future.

We stand in full solidarity with all the affected families and traders. We hope that the administration will take swift and compassionate action to support the victims and help them rebuild their lives.

PUBLIC APPEAL DURING THE HOLY MONTH OF RAMADAN

During the blessed month of Ramadan, we see many people begging on roads, at traffic signals, and even going door to door. While helping the poor is our religious and moral duty, we must ensure that our charity reaches the truly deserving people.
If any family is genuinely poor and has no earning member, it is the responsibility of the local villagers and Mohalla committees to support them. Funds from Bait-ul-Maal units should be properly utilized for such deserving families.
However, organized begging should not be allowed — especially people who come from outside states and beg on roads or outside homes. This matter requires strict action by J&K UT Police and concerned authorities to verify such individuals and, if necessary, send them back to their respective places.
Similarly, those collecting donations in the name of Madrasas, trusts, or charities — particularly from outside states — must carry proper verification certificates from the local police station. Without verification, no one should be allowed to collect funds.
Our goal is clear:
Charity must reach the rightful needy, not become a business for fraudsters who deceive innocent people.
Let us donate responsibly and protect the dignity of our society.
