So......
Calling The Hardcore #013 was a bucket list gig for me on Friday.
I got to play a set that was totally new music, and 90% self-produced. There are not many promoters out there that allow DJ's to showcase their productions and give them the free reign that sometimes, the creatives need.
So, with that said, I'd like to say a few thanks to some people.
Hugely and sincerely, Sammy Purcell. What a promoter. Never a missed beat on communication, delivered exactly what was promised and never imposed any restrictions on me as an artist and as a DJ. Thank you so so much.
To all the people that gave me incredible feedback on my music and my set, (best set of the night, apparently!), I am humbled. I am blown away by the energy in the room, and the loyalty many people gave me by staying until my set was done. I hope to repay that again by producing more music for the dancefloor, and more memories because of it. You guys made me feel like a headliner. Thank you.
I saw so many familiar faces, friends, old and new, but all with a love of the sound and the culture. It was an amazing experience.
But most of all to my amazingly supportive better half Sue. She literally makes things happen for me. She drives me, encourages me and supports me like no other. Thank you
