Halloween II (1981) is slashing its way back to the big screen this October at Cinemark theaters! 🎃

The cult classic sequel to John Carpenter’s original returns on October 17, 2025, giving fans a chance to relive Michael Myers’ relentless rampage through Haddonfield on the big screen. 🎬

This re-release is part of Cinemark’s growing push to celebrate horror favorites during the Halloween season.
To mark the event, the chain is also rolling out a brand-new Michael Myers popcorn bucket on October 7, modeled after his haunting Halloween II look with bloody eyeholes. Supplies of the bucket are limited and expected to sell out fast, so collectors and fans will want to act early. 🍿

Showtimes will vary by location, and tickets can be purchased directly through Cinemark’s website or app.

Today, we wish Donald Pleasence a heavenly happy birthday today, October 5th. 🎂🎈

Born in 1919, Pleasence not only became a legendary actor but also served his country in World War II as a Royal Air Force officer. After being shot down and taken prisoner, he survived life in a German POW camp—a real hero who later played roles where he outwitted villains and even Nazis on screen. 🎞

His career spanned over 200 films, from The Great Escape to You Only Live Twice, but horror fans will always cherish him as Dr. Samuel Loomis in the Halloween franchise. From 1978 through the mid-90s, he was the heart and conscience of the series, the man who saw the evil in Michael Myers and never stopped fighting it. 🎥

His intensity, kindness, and humanity made him the glue that held Halloween together. Today, we honor his life, his service, his artistry, and his unforgettable presence. Donald Pleasence is deeply missed, but his legacy lives on. 🎃🔪
