“The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because He has anointed me to bring good news to the poor… to proclaim liberty to captives and freedom to the oppressed.” — Luke 4:18

After a season of intense prayer and discernment, and in answering the Lord’s prophetic call to “Speak”—to proclaim truth in love, to confront injustice with clarity, and to bring conscience into the public square (cf. Jeremiah 1:7–8) —Theology Tambayan returns in this thought-provoking series based on "Discerning the Ballot: 10 Commandments for a Well-Discerned Vote."

Faith is never meant to be neutral. The Gospel is not silent in the face of injustice. This bold new live series asks: How can Catholics faithfully fulfill the Gospel mandate of active political participation today? What does it mean to be prophetic in a time of division, disinformation, and moral compromise?

Grounded in Scripture and Catholic Social Teaching, God’s Kingdom is Not Neutral is a prophetic call to every Catholic—especially in this time of elections and social unrest—to participate not just by voting, but by engaging, discerning, and forming our conscience as a public witness of Christ’s liberating mission.

“A good Catholic meddles in politics, offering the best of themselves so that those who govern can govern well.” — Fratelli Tutti §182

Join us as we break the myth of neutrality and reclaim our prophetic role in politics—with courage, clarity, and conscience.

My initial opinion regarding Pope Francis’ statement on “religions as different ways/branches leading to the same God.”

I believe that this statement (together with all of his other statements) should be read ALWAYS in the context and in conituity of Apostolic Tradition and Sacred Scriptures, illuminated by Church Magisterium.

A good reading for this particular case is St. Paul VIs document on the relation of the Church with non-Christian Religions (Nostra Aetate).

The heart of the battle cannot be won in Social Media.

May our passion to patiently discern, reflect, discuss, and act upon the call of our Catholic Faith to live out its Social Teachings on Politics and Society move us to go beyond the confines of Social Media.

- Engage your Family members, talk to them face to face.
- Choose a Household topic with your Household that discusses the relevance of Catholic Social Teaching in our Faith as Catholics (e.g. Stand for the Common Good)
- Reach out to your friends and talk to them, heart to heart, and even face to face (if possible) to journey with them.

The battleground is not found in the toxicity or curated positivity of the internet or Social Media. The discussions can start here, but the conversion of hearts can only be effectively achieved "beyond" the Digital Space.

It is within the hearts of people.

Join us tonight as we talk about

“Beyond Left and Right: Overcoming Ideological Corruption of Catholic Teaching”

August 2 | 11:00 PM (PHT | GMT+8) | 7:00 PM (UAE | GMT +4)

This past week there has been strong reactions at social media regarding what was happening at the Olympics. First the"Last Supper" mockery or misinterpreted homage, depending on who you ask. Then just earlier in the day today its all about whether or not the one who competed at the women's boxing was a biological woman.

Social media is filled with differing opinions, high tension, high emotions...filled with anger, rage, confusion, and ridicule. Unhealthy discourse which doesn't move the conversation forward.

- What the heck happened this week at the Olympics?
- What is Left Wing and Right Wing Ideology?
- The rise of the Culture Wars.
- Our tendency as Catholics to fall into the Culture War.
- The distortions of “Justice” and “Mercy.”
- Why Catholics should be beyond left and right.

And many more!

But, do join us tonight, let's talk about "Divorce"
May 25 | 10:30 PM (PHT | GMT+8) | 6:30 PM (UAE | GMT +4

How both camps actually have VALID points to consider, and why I think those who are in the "Anti-Divorce" camp are speaking a different language that fails to address the concerns of those pushing for Divorce.

It's honestly embarrassing that it took me this long to realize how kind Jesus was, and how kindness is something that you cannot "overdo."

This obsession to transform Jesus or Christianity into some warrior-like "Christendom" conquering icon is precisely what Jesus avoided on his time here on earth.

People like to shout and chant that Christ is King...and that is true. But we often forget that his "Kingship" is not of strength and domination, but of weakness and of submission. A Kingship that defeats evil through love. A Kingship that "washes the feet" of His servants.

He did not come to "conquer" and "vanquish" through violence, but through love. Love was His ultimate weapon, love that is grounded on truth, Love that proposes instead of imposing, Love that draws ALL people unto himself (regardless of their state).

One verse that calls to my mind when reflecting upon this kindness is the from Luke 22:49-51 (GNT):

"When Jesus’ followers saw what was going to happen, they said, “Lord, should we strike with our swords?” And one of them struck the servant of the high priest, cutting off his right ear.

But Jesus answered, “No more of this!” And he touched the man’s ear and healed him."

With all things hapenning in the Church.

I don’t understand why because normally it doesn’t but this thought was able to comfort me and bring me peace. May it bring peace to you as well.

“Pray, Hope, and do not Worry.”
