The U.S. House of Representatives has voted to limit President Trump’s ability to take further military action against Iran.
Four Republicans joined Democrats to pass the measure, arguing that Congress—not the president alone has the authority to declare war. Supporters of the resolution say it is a push to prevent a prolonged conflict in the Middle East.
The measure now heads to the Senate, where its future remains uncertain. Even if approved, Trump could still veto it.
