Yesterday in pictures → campfire glow, river views, a curious cat on patrol, and a visit to the historic “America’s First Mile Marker “ on US Route 1.

Our Hipcamp spot sat right on the banks of the St. John River, with Canada stretched out as our backyard.

Home is wherever we park, but it feels extra sweet when it’s this remote—away from the crowds, with space to breathe, reflect, and explore.

🏕️ Not all who wander want hookups.

Some of us chase the stillness—off-grid, off-map, and way off the main road.

We’re remote campers. We’ll trade campground crowds for dirt roads and silence any day. Give us a rocky overlook, a pine forest with no cell signal, a dry wash with only the stars for company. That’s where we feel most alive.

And when we’re deep in the work grind and only have a few days to escape? We want this. The quiet. The wind. The firewood we had to collect ourselves. The coffee sipped in complete solitude.

This is Viking Spirit RV Adventures. It’s how we roam—fiercely free.

How long have we been together?
Since 2015—but our story started way before that. We went to the same school, two grades apart, and reconnected years later without missing a beat. Six weeks after we met again, we were engaged. Seven months later, married.

Since then, it’s been one wild ride—boats, RVs, cross-country road trips, and a whole lot of learning along the way. We’ve always chased adventure, but at the end of every day, my safe place is with you.

Here’s to pushing each other to grow, backing each other in every new challenge, and never losing that spark. The best is still ahead.

🎉 Maine knows how to throw a festival — and the 16th Annual Maine Whoopie Pie Festival was everything we hoped it would be (and more)! From classic chocolate and peanut butter to wild blueberry and red velvet, we sampled our way through a Whoopie pie wonderland 🧁

But it wasn’t just sweets… the Piscataquis County Fairgrounds were packed with everything from beef jerky and French fries to artisan soaps, T-shirts, handmade crafts, and local brews. It was truly a slice of Maine at its finest. 🇺🇸

And yes… we came home with way too many Whoopie pies. (Is that even possible?)
