Hey yall.

Angel is fine and did sleep at home last night. Ik we all have our opinions on what I should have done or what they would have done. No one can truly say what they would do in that situation until you are in or have been in the situation.

Angel refused to come in, chasing her around the neighborhood and begging her to come in trying to reason with her doesn’t work.

It was well after 930pm.

She unfortunately will not be outside again. Thank you. lol ❤️

Today was one of the hardest days we’ve had in a long time.

After letting Angel go outside to play with her friends, she refused to come back inside. Despite every effort to de-escalate the situation, I reached a point where I had to call the police for assistance. It ended with her being placed in handcuffs so she could be brought inside safely.

As her mom, watching that broke me.

This isn’t about a “bad kid.” This is the reality of parenting a child with Prader-Willi syndrome and significant behavioral challenges. There are moments when keeping everyone safe—including Angel, her little sister, and myself—has to come first.

I don’t share these moments for sympathy or judgment. I share them because this is our reality, and families living with disabilities often face situations that most people never see.

Some days, love looks like hugs.
Some days, love means making impossible decisions to keep everyone safe.

The procedure started at 10:54 I received a “procedure still happening” text at 3:08. We’re still waiting. Patiently.

Angel: mama she has PWS

ME: *whispers* no she does not

Angel: ask her mama

Me : no

Angel: *asks mom* does she have PWS

Yall the child DID NOT have PWS

Angel is in here cutting up, she is so funny! 😆

She has really gotten into character for this procedure she is in here laying in this bed like she’s sick.

The nurse and I both explained to her that she’s here for dental and she’s not sick, it’s ok. lol
