For July 1995, we covered a controversial flick by Larry Clark. He took a group of unknowns, launching the careers of Chloe Sevigny and Rosario Dawson, but drew ire by actually talking about the s*x lives and drug habits of teenagers. It’s hard to reckon with the fact they’re still only…Kids!

For May 1995, we look at one of the most indelible comedians of our youth - Billy Crystal - as he forged his own path behind the camera with his second directorial effort. Crafting a romance in reverse, he enlisted Debra Winger as his foil. Did everything work out, or did we simply…Forget Paris!

Episode 1 ("One Year Later")- It's been a perennial since the inclement rebellion on Cassian Andor's (Diego Luna) residential planet and the seeds of discontent continue to be reaped. 'Star Wars' fanboys whose sole preoccupations are lightsaber battles and Skywalker callbacks will be crestfallen by how sophisticated and highbrow Tony Gilroy's empire expansion is. Cassian is no longer a conscientious pacifist to the cause....

To critique this revival for being disjointed and uneven is fairly accurate. But it is the season finale that lingers in the memories of viewers, not the mottled journey to arrive there. Vanessa's skullduggery behind the assassination of Foggy was a limpid revelation that most audience members deciphered episodes ago. The confirmation of our suspicions was a foregone conclusion. Somehow, Vincent D'Onofrio in his silky white dress shirt looks more intimidatingly broad-shouldered than ever....

With only two episodes left, can this tailspin for Born Again be rectified? The general population scenario with Bullseye is a framework for another oner like The Punisher in season 2 of the Netflix incarnation but it is a cul-de-sac with none of the exhilarating choreography of that set piece. Is Heather really such a densely obtuse analyst that she can't differentiate between Muse and Daredevil at this point?...

Previously on 'Daredevil: Born Again', the viewers' appetites were whetted by a seismic scuffle between the visually impaired crusader and the genocidal Muse. After much dawdling, the show is finally nitrogenized on an inextricable collision course. It's burdensome on the viewers to reconcile a solemn conversation in the mayor's office with the comic-book nomenclature Muse and Daredevil being bandied about. …...

Last week's episode was an elongation of the foreplay that has been gradually decelerating this season. The tie-in to 'Ms. Marvel' and Kamal's branch-manager father is among the most extraneous callbacks that the show has foisted upon us. Brandishing a Funko Pop of her is merely Disney's synergistic product placement. It isn't a powderkeg scenario when the bank robbers are such dunces that they don't immediately lock the doors and the ringleader isn't skeptical as to why Matt Murdock isn't eager for "emancipation"....

The fringes of Hell's Kitchen have been formicating with Punisher acolytes but the cliffhanger of the previous episode confirmed that Frank Castle and his vigilante goose-steppers are alive and thriving. A collision between The Man Without Fear and The Punisher is inevitable but the delayed gratification is becoming plodding. When Castle (Jon Bernthal) finally materializes into an abandoned edifice lair, it is unceremoniously slapdash....

After two stellar episodes, can 'Born Again' maintain the kinetic momentum? The answer is a muddled yes and no. The trial of Hector has begun and as an epitaph to the deceased Kamar de los Reyes, his delivery about the native fauna is outstandingly lyrical. Meanwhile, the mask of civility on Wilson Fisk has finally creased and buckled with the foreshadowing hint of bruised knuckles....
