Be stubborn in your hope.

How easy is it to want to lose hope? We live in a world that seems like it gives us every reason to.

What does that enduring, stubborn, defiant, radical hope look like?

It’s a hope that God will bring good out of every circumstance, even if it looks different than we expect or different than how we ask.

It’s a hope that our trials will strengthen our faith, rather than diminish it. Suffering doesn’t go away when we ignore it, we get to decide to fall into despair or hold onto hope that it will serve a greater purpose.

It’s a hope that endures til the point that people question it. Let your life be a witness of strength and peace rooted in Christ. Share it with the ones you surround yourself with and be a light of hope, because chances are, they need it to.

“Will not God then secure the rights of his chosen ones who call out to him day and night?
Will he be slow to answer them?
I tell you, he will see to it that justice is done for them speedily.
But when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on earth?”

Let your faith be found, persistent in prayer, stubborn in hope. Trust in God’s goodness and open yourself up to His grace… whatever it looks like.

Too many people try to use God to get what they want instead of wanting God Himself. Obedience isn’t a transaction to earn blessings, obedience IS the blessing. When faith is about getting “stuff,” not knowing the Father, envy will always grow. The gospel flips the script: joy isn’t found in outcomes, it’s found in obedience born from love.

Federal funding freezes on SNAP and LIHEAP benefits are leading thousands of Montana families to question how they’ll put food on the table and heat their homes. This has caused a lot of stress and strain on our community members.

At HRDC, we’ve seen a 20% increase in demand for food, housing, and emergency support. So far in 2025:

🍎 1,700+ families we serve rely on SNAP
🏠 1,100+ families are juggling both SNAP and TANF assistance

We’re also seeing furloughed federal employees who never imagined they’d need help.

People are worried — and the uncertainty is real. But together, we can make sure no one faces hunger or hardship alone.
