Does anyone know why this keeps happening to my shoes after wearing them for a few weeks/months of wear?

I'm not sure, but it's very annoying. Is it because of the way I walk? Or how I tie my shoes? Or something else?
Please someone help, it you have experienced the same thing.

I would definitely hesitate to place an order if I saw that kind of warning.

I am glad to leave a tip when I receive excellent service, and I am well aware that service providers rely on tips. However, it begins to feel less like a gratuity and more like a required tax when a coffee shop publishes, "No tipping = no service," and demands at least 18%.

Tipping ought to be an option and a means of expressing gratitude for excellent service. Customers react differently when they are forced to pay before they have placed an order or gotten anything.

Would not it be more truthful to include 18% in the rates or explicitly refer to it as a service charge if it is indeed necessary?

Please stop putting changing tables right next to the door!

I do not want strangers getting a full view of my baby every time someone walks in.

I should not have to worry about who is opening the door while my baby is undressed.
I should not feel rushed because I hear the handle turn.
I should not feel exposed in a space that is supposed to be for families.

A changing table should be placed somewhere that allows parents to care for their babies without an audience.

I stayed over at this guy’s place after a date last night and everything seemed normal until morning. I wake up expecting some basic adult breakfast energy, maybe eggs in a pan, coffee going, something respectable. Instead I walk into his kitchen and this grown man is pouring eggs into a waffle maker like he just invented cuisine. No hesitation. No shame. Just standing there proud of it.

That’s when it clicked for me he wasn’t quirky, he was childish. I’m not about to date someone who treats breakfast like a middle school science project. I said something and he starts explaining how it’s “efficient” and “fun.” Fun? It’s eggs, not arts and crafts. I don’t need novelty, I need someone who acts like they’ve lived past age twelve.

So I grabbed my stuff, told him I suddenly remembered I had somewhere to be, and dipped. He looked confused but honestly that just confirmed it for me. If you don’t see why pouring eggs into a waffle maker at your big age is embarrassing, we’re not operating on the same level.

The wonderful state of Illinois sent me a letter stating my taxes were filed incorrectly, to which they corrected, and told us we now owe them a sum of $1.

Now this really irritated me. Talk about government bureaucracy wasting my time. I thought about writing mean things on the check i paid them with, but figured I would play their own game....
I sent them a check for $2. Boom! Now you deal with that stupid petty crap!

Today we got our paperwork and $1 refund 😎

Some fu***ng guy tipped me ten dollars in quarters, and I’m still trying to understand what kind of person thinks that’s acceptable. I just finished a DoorDash order and he tells me he forgot to tip in the app, which is whatever, not ideal but fine. Then he pulls out a literal roll of quarters like he’s doing me some huge favor.
He looked at me and said,
“Sorry man, I didn’t tip on the app, this is all I’ve got.”
I stood there holding a handful of coins like it was 1998. I don’t use change. I’m not a parking meter. I’m not carrying around rolls of quarters or dumping them into a Coinstar just to access money I already earned. I took it because I’m not going to stand there arguing, but that doesn’t make it okay.
Tipping in quarters is ridiculous. Tip in the app, tip in bills, tip digitally, tip in literally anything that doesn’t require me to lug around loose metal. Acting like this is normal is insane, and yeah, f**k that guy for thinking a pocketful of coins is an acceptable tip
