During 2023, the King and Queen will visit Sweden's 21 counties on the occasion of The King's 50 years on the throne. On 14 June, the King and Queen visited the county of Gotland and the residence city of Visby.

The day began at Gotland's museum in Visby, where the royal couple got to see the exhibition 1361 - the battle for Gotland, which tells Gotland's entire medieval history and describes the people's living conditions.

The King and Queen also visited the Treasury with silver and gold objects from the Viking Age and the Picture Stone Hall with world-unique Gotland picture stones.

The royal couple then walked to Almedalen for a tree-planting ceremony where the King planted a walnut tree.

A commemorative program took place on Almedalen's stage with performances by, among others, the singer Elin Andersson. The King gave a speech.

Then Gotland's museum introduced the anniversary photo exhibition and unveiled the first subject. ๐ŸŽž๏ธ

In the residence, the governor hosted a jubilee lunch. ๐Ÿฝ๏ธ

After lunch, the King and Queen visited Svenskbygรฅrden in Roma, where they were received by representatives of the Association of Svenskbyborna and the museum Svenskbygรฅrden.

The King and Queen were given a viewing of the exhibition The Swedish Villagers - a folk scrap in Sweden's history.

The royal couple also received information about ongoing aid work in Gammalsvenskby due to the war in Ukraine.

The anniversary visit to Gotland County ended with a visit to the National Archives (Landsarkivet Gotland).

On January 18, the King visited the Stockholm Bypass together with the Swedish Transport Administration in Stockholm, Sweden.

Most of the visit took place in the southern part of the 18 kilometer long tunnels. The Stockholm Bypass is one of the worldโ€™s most complex tunnel constructions and is planned to be completed in 2030.

From Lovรถ, the King went down the main tunnel. At the first stop, the King received information about the upcoming exits and entrances to the traffic areas at Lovรถ.

The second stop took place in the tunnel under Mรคlaren and the King was informed about the complexity of building a tunnel under water.

The final stop took place at the tunnel mouth in the Kingโ€™s curve, where the King was shown the escape route and the service tunnel that runs parallel to the carriageways. ๐Ÿ‘ทโ€โ™‚๏ธ๐Ÿฆบ

On November 21-25, the Crown Princess visited Kenya. Parts of the program were carried out together with the Crown Prince of Norway and representatives from the United Nations Development Program (UNDP).

Day 2.

During the morning, Crown Princess Victoria and Crown Prince Haakon spoke with local employees at the UN office and participated in the launch of a report on plastic pollution in Kenya.

โ€ข Crown Princess Victoria wore a dress from By Malina with her Krueger Jewelry earrings and Yves Saint Laurent sandals. The bag was from the same brand (Ysl). ๐Ÿ’™

In the afternoon, the Crown Princess and the Crown Prince visited the Kitengela waste disposal facility outside Nairobi. At the facility, UNDP is working with local organizations to reduce plastic pollution

During 2023, the King and Queen will visit Sweden's 21 counties on the occasion of The King's 50 years on the throne. On June 22, the King and Queen visited Stockholm County and the city of residence Stockholm.

The county visit began in the Kulturhuset Stadsteatern in Skรคrholmen. There the Royal couple received a presentation of the district's investments, cultural life and business life.

At the Sรคtrastrandsbadet, a public program was held with musical performances and speeches by Skรคrholmen's district council chairman Julia Matusenko and county governor Anna Kinberg Batra. ๐ŸŽถ

The King and Queen then participated in the planting of a tree, a lobe-leaved alder, to commemorate the King's 50 years on the throne. ๐ŸŒณ

From Sรคtra strand, the Royal couple traveled to Riddarholmen with one of the Swedish Maritime Rescue Society's rescue boats.

The Royal couple walked from Stortorget in the Old Town to the Slottsbacken and the celebration outside the Tessinska Palace. On arrival at Slottsbacken, the Home Guard's band played the Jubilee March. The King gave a speech.

Then a lunch was hosted at the residence, the Tessinska Palace at Slottsbacken. ๐Ÿฝ๏ธ

A few days ago on 7th September, Princess Madeleine opened the โ€™Min Stora Dagโ€™ foundationโ€™s funfair at Grรถna Lund (an amusement park) in Stockholm. Children and their families from all over Sweden were invited to mark the foundationโ€™s 25th anniversary. ๐Ÿซถ๐Ÿป

300 children with serious illnesses and diagnoses had traveled to Stockholm with their families to participate in the fair. For two hours, they had the opportunity to ride all the attractions in a park that was open just for them. ๐Ÿ’•

๐Ÿ“A state visit from Sweden to Jordan. ๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿ‡ช๐Ÿ‡ฏ๐Ÿ‡ด

15โ€“17 November The King and Queen of Sweden made a three-day state visit to the Hashimite Kingdom of Jordan at the invitation of H.M. King Abdullah II.

Day 3.

The last day of the state visit to the Hashimite Kingdom of Jordan began with a visit to the Zaatari refugee camp. Zaatari was established in 2012 and is the largest refugee camp in the Middle East. The camp is also the largest of four camps for Syrian refugees in Jordan.

The King and Queen then visited Manara Arts & Culture where they were welcomed by, among others, Princess Basma bint Ali. During the visit, the King and Queen attended a conversation about the challenges for the environment, water supply and food security that both Jordan and the region are facing.

The day's program ended at the Jordan Museum, where the King and Queen were received by, among others, the museum's vice president, Princess Sumaya bint El Hassan.

In the afternoon, the state visit to the Hashimite Kingdom of Jordan ended with a farewell ceremony at Marka airport. โœˆ๏ธ

During 2023, the King and Queen will visit Sweden's 21 counties on the occasion of The King's 50 years on the throne. On June 4, the King and Queen visited the county of Vรคstra Gรถtaland and the city of residence, Gothenburg.

The King and Queen traveled in a horse-drawn cortege along to the square. Then the Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra played from the Concert Hallโ€™s balcony.

On arrival at the square, the King and Queen were welcomed outside the Stock Exchange by the governor couple and the chairman of the municipal council. In the square, music was then performed and a historical parade. The King gave a speech.

In the square, the King and Queen also had the opportunity to see a photo exhibition with pictures and stories from royal visits to the county over the past 50 years. ๐ŸŽž๏ธ

After the celebration in the square, the governor hosted an anniversary lunch at the residence. ๐Ÿฝ๏ธ

During the afternoon, the Royal Couple's program turned into a celebration of Gothenburg's 400th anniversary. ๐ŸŽ‰

On 28th April, the Crown Princess visited the Air Force and the armed forces exercise Aurora 23 at Hagshult air base.

The Crown Princess began her visit by seeing an approach by a rescue force in which air base fighters from the Blekinge air flotilla and American helicopters from the 56. Rescue Squadron participated.

The Crown Princess then received information about the management of the air base, met employed personnel and conscripts, saw the landing on a short runway with fighter aircraft and tactical clarification of the Jas 39 Gripen.

The Crown Princess's visit ended with a tour of R3's grouping site. ๐Ÿ’š

On 29th April, the King visited the armed forces exercise Aurora 23 at Bromma airport.

The King began his visit by receiving information about Lv 6's activities and about the unit's ongoing and future tasks.

On 21st June, Princess Madeleine, Chris Oโ€™Neill and their 7-year-old son, Prince Nicolas attended the inauguration of Discovery Park in Skuleberget, ร…ngermanland.

Princess Madeleine wore a new lovely jacket from Valentino with a cardigan from veronicabeard. She also wore white jeans from the same brand. Her shoes were from chloe. She wore sunglasses from raen with a new gorgeous necklace from ebbabrahejewellery and cartier bracelet.

The Crown Princess couple visited the Swedish Embassy in Canberra. Afterward, they were officially welcomed with a traditional smoking ceremony outside the National Museum of Australia.

- Crown Princess Victoria wore a gorgeous white outfit with new earrings and necklace from Skultuna. She wore her Engelbert necklace, Gianvito Rossi pumps and Ebba Brahe bracelets. She was holding her Miu Miu clutch. ๐Ÿค

Then the Crown Princess couple visited Namadgi National Park and met some koalas.

On Monday 6 June, Sweden's National Day and Swedish Flag Day were celebrated.

Later in the evening, the King and Queen invited representatives of the Riksdag, the government, official Sweden and parts of the diplomatic corps to a reception at the Royal Palace.

The National Day ended with a tapto by the Army's music corps at Logรฅrden.
