The CET Department scratched the College of Criminal Justice (CCJ) with 2-1 scores in their last game, held in General Santos City-SPORTS COMPLEX.

The CCJ claws the CET in the first regu, 0-1, showing the CET Department that they can claw their way to score. However, the CET Department fought back in the second set with a matching point of 1-1. In their last set, the CET Department scratched and jumped higher, sealing the match with 2-1. With their peculiar skills and amazing determination, the CET Department brings back the victory.

𝙑𝙞𝙘𝙩𝙤𝙧𝙮 𝙨𝙚𝙘𝙪𝙧𝙚𝙙! 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝘾𝙤𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙜𝙚 𝙤𝙛 𝙀𝙣𝙜𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙏𝙚𝙘𝙝𝙣𝙤𝙡𝙤𝙜𝙮 𝙙𝙤𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙨 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝘿𝙤𝙩𝙖 2 𝙖𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙖!

The CET Department showed everyone their amazing strength and talents in the virtual battlefield of Dota. Their first match with the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS), The CET Department showed no mercy leading them to win the first game with 2-0. In game 5, The CET Department won over the College of Criminal Justice (CCJ) with 2-0. In the championship round, the CET Department smashed the CCJ with the 2-0 score, winning the match effortlessly.

What they gave was more than just a game—it was a display of teamwork, strategy, and unwavering determination, that's the CET's secret weapon. Every clash, every call, and every push showed how far dedication and unity can take us. With no losses since the first game, the CET Department indeed represent with roaring passion, confidence, and skills .

The College of Engineering and Technology has once again proven its excellence by capturing the championship title in this year’s prestigious PALARO Valorant Esports tournament. They made their way up with their sharp focus, flawless teamwork, and strategic gameplay that set them apart from the rest since the first day. From planting the spike to securing clutch plays to defending key sites, each member played a vital role in the team’s victory. Their ability to communicate effectively on the battlefield and adapt quickly to opponents’ tactics showcases true teamwork and dedication.

𝘾𝙀𝙏 "Victory Secured" 𝘾𝙊𝘿𝙈 𝙚𝙎𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙩𝙨 𝘾𝙝𝙖𝙢𝙥𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨𝙝𝙞𝙥 𝙏𝙞𝙩𝙡𝙚!

The tournament featured a smart point system that encouraged both aggressive plays and clever tactics, awarding points for kills and placements: 10 for first place, 7 for second, and 5 for third. This balanced approach emphasised that success relied not just on skill, but on strategy as well.

‎The MVP title was awarded to CET zero, who earned 25 points for their exceptional gameplay and cooperation with teammates. Other standout players like SIP, IGURO, SWIPER, and SLYXER made huge contributions as well, showcasing their skills in critical matches and proving they can compete at a top level.

Two faculty members from the 𝐑𝐚𝐦𝐨𝐧 𝐌𝐚𝐠𝐬𝐚𝐲𝐬𝐚𝐲 𝐌𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞𝐬 (𝐑𝐌𝐌𝐂) – 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐂𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐥 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲 (𝐂𝐄𝐓) proudly represented the institution held on October 28,2025 at the 𝟏𝟑𝐭𝐡 𝐃𝐚𝐭𝐚 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 𝐔𝐭𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐳𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐮𝐦 held in 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐗𝐈𝐈, themed “𝘈𝘤𝘤𝘦𝘭𝘦𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘚𝘋𝘎𝘴 𝘗𝘩𝘢𝘴𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘗𝘳𝘰𝘨𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘴: 𝘔𝘰𝘣𝘪𝘭𝘪𝘻𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘋𝘢𝘵𝘢 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘈𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯.”

𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗿. 𝗥𝗲𝗻𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗲 𝗖. 𝗢𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗴, with co-authors Engr. Tagolanao and Engr. Tungantong, presented the study titled “𝘚𝘢𝘸𝘥𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘢𝘴 𝘢 𝘗𝘢𝘳𝘵𝘪𝘢𝘭 𝘙𝘦𝘱𝘭𝘢𝘤𝘦𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘚𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘰 𝘊𝘰𝘯𝘤𝘳𝘦𝘵𝘦,” which promotes sustainable and cost-efficient construction materials by utilizing sawdust waste. Meanwhile, 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗿. 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗮 𝗬𝘀𝗮𝗯𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗮 𝗠𝗼𝘀𝗰𝗼𝘀𝗼, with co-authors Engr. Abo and Cabuhay, presented "𝘔𝘦𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘭 𝘗𝘳𝘰𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘵𝘪𝘦𝘴 𝘰𝘧 𝘈𝘴𝘱𝘩𝘢𝘭𝘵 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘗𝘰𝘭𝘺𝘦𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘳 𝘢𝘴 𝘈𝘥𝘥𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘦,” focusing on the use of recycled polyester fibers to enhance road durability and environmental sustainability.

The 𝗥𝗠𝗠𝗖 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵, 𝗘𝘅𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗘𝘅𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲 (𝗥𝗘𝗘𝗗𝗢) commended both faculty members for showcasing the college’s strong research culture and innovation in civil engineering. Special appreciation was also extended to 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗿. 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗸 𝗟𝗲𝗵𝗶 𝗣𝗮𝗹𝗺𝗲𝘀 for his unwavering support and guidance throughout the preparation and presentation.

In celebration of the 𝟯𝟲𝘁𝗵 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰𝘀 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵 with the theme “Accelerating the SDG Pace of Progress: Mobilizing Data for All,” the 𝟯𝗿𝗱 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗼𝘀 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰𝘀 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝘂𝗺 was successfully held at Notre Dame of Dadiangas University, General Santos City. The event gathered educators, professionals and research enthusiasts from various academic and government institutions to promote data-driven research and innovation in support of the 𝗦𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗚𝗼𝗮𝗹𝘀 (𝗦𝗗𝗚𝘀).

Representing the 𝗥𝗮𝗺𝗼𝗻 𝗠𝗮𝗴𝘀𝗮𝘆𝘀𝗮𝘆 𝗠𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲𝘀 (𝗥𝗠𝗠𝗖) were faculty members from the 𝗖𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗹 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 — 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗿. 𝗘𝗹𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗼 𝗙. 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗿 with co-author 𝗰𝗼-𝗮𝘂𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗿 𝗝𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗿𝘆𝗹 𝗬𝗴𝗼ñ𝗮, 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗿. 𝗘𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗹 𝗢𝗰𝘇𝗼𝗻,MSIS, who presented their collaborative research highlighting the integration of technology and data management in advancing sustainable development efforts.

The RMMC delegation received full support from 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲 𝗗𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗠𝘀. 𝗘𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗹 𝗢𝗰𝘇𝗼𝗻, 𝗠𝗦𝗜𝗦, 𝗕𝗦𝗖𝗘 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗿. 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗸 𝗟𝗲𝗵𝗶 𝗣𝗮𝗹𝗺𝗲𝘀, 𝗕𝗦𝗖𝗦 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝗦𝗶𝗿 𝗝𝗶𝗺 𝗝𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗼, 𝗥𝗘𝗘𝗗𝗢 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝗗𝗿. 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗵𝘂 𝗗𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗼, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗱𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗥𝗘𝗘𝗗𝗢 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗳𝗳, who continue to foster a culture of research excellence and innovation across the college.

The forum served as a meaningful platform for knowledge sharing and interdisciplinary collaboration among educators and researchers. Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Colleges (RMMC) Civil Engineering Department proudly marked a milestone with the successful celebration of its On-the-Job Training (OJT) Culmination and 3rd Hard Hatting Ceremony held at the Phela Grande Hotel, General Santos City, on October 5, 2025. The event highlighted the students’ achievements and growth throughout their internship experiences, showcasing their readiness to face real-world engineering challenges. Faculty members, industry partners, and guests gathered to recognize the hard work, dedication, and perseverance of the aspiring engineers who have completed their training journey.

The Hard Hatting Ceremony symbolized a significant transition for civil engineering students as they officially embarked on their professional path in the field. Wearing the hard hat represented not only safety and responsibility but also the commitment to uphold the integrity and excellence of the engineering profession. The event inspired students to carry forward the values instilled by RMMC discipline, competence, and service preparing them to contribute meaningfully to nation-building through innovation and engineering excellence.
