The PICE-RMMC Student Chapter announced its 1st General Assembly, which took place on September 13, 2025, at the RMMC Main Lobby from 8:00 AM to 11:30 AM. The event marked a major turning point for the organization as members gathered to discuss goals, plans, and initiatives that would shape their journey ahead. It was the perfect opportunity for all members to stay updated, engage in meaningful discussions, and strengthen their unity as one team.

Right after the General Assembly, the organization continued the day with its Membership Day from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM. The activity aimed to deepen bonds among members through fun and interactive games while celebrating their shared commitment to the organization.

It was truly a day to remember for all the PICEmates who made these milestone events a success!

𝐈𝐍 𝐏𝐇𝐎𝐓𝐎𝐒 | 𝐑𝐌𝐌𝐂 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐩 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓

The student leaders of Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Colleges, Inc. (RMMC) convened at 𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐩 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐨, 𝐁𝐫𝐠𝐲. 𝐒𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐯𝐢𝐚, 𝐊𝐨𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐝𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲 for the 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐩 2025, held on 𝐒𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟏–𝟐.

Guided by the theme “𝑳𝒆𝒂𝒅𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑻𝒐𝒈𝒆𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒓: 𝑺𝒕𝒓𝒆𝒏𝒈𝒕𝒉 𝒊𝒏 𝑼𝒏𝒊𝒕𝒚 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑷𝒖𝒓𝒑𝒐𝒔𝒆,” the camp brought together the college student councils and organization/societies of the institution for two days of seminars, workshop, and team building.

Throughout the event, contingents engaged in a series of plenary sessions led by distinguished speakers, focusing on leadership excellence, parliamentary acts within a council, professional communication, moral integrity, and ethical governance.

Anent to these insightful sessions, the student leaders also engaged in team-building activities that tested their capability. Particularly, the Leaders Got Talent showcase, where students expressed their creativity and confidence through performances that mirrored different aspects of leadership.

This hallmark activity not only honed their leadership capabilities, but also testifies to RMMC’s strong commitment to shaping future leaders who embody integrity, service, and excellence.

Bilang bahagi ng pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Wika 2025 na may temang “Diwa ng Kasaysayan, Bilin sa Kabataan,” itinampok ng College of Engineering and Technology ng Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Colleges ang pelikulang “Pamana ni Heneral” sa prestihiyosong patimpalak na Sinekasaysayan.

Nakaugat sa kasaysayan ng Lungsod ng Heneral Santos, ang pelikula ay naglahad ng pamana ni Heneral Paulino Santos, isang salaysay ng katapangan, kultura, at alaala ng nakaraan na patuloy na nagbibigay saysay sa kasalukuyan. Sa galing ng pagkakaganap, nakamit ng CET ang Pangungunang Pwesto sa kompetisyon.

Ang pagkamit ng pangungunang pwesto ay higit pa sa isang karangalan; ito ay nagsisilbing pahayag na sa kabila ng mabilis na paglipas ng panahon, nananatiling buhay ang mga pinaghuhugutan ng inspirasyon at aral mula sa kasaysayan.

Kasabay ng tagumpay na ito, muling inilunsad ang E-Haven Publication ngayong Pang Akademikong Taon 2025–2026, at ang pinaka unang kolaborasyon kasama ang The Pillar Publication, isang panibagong yugto para sa masiglang pamamahayag sa loob ng pamantasan.

Sa pangunguna ng "Alyansa ng mga Tagapagtaguyod ng/sa Filipino at ng Samahan ng mga Mag-aaral ng Araling Panlipunan" hindi lamang ito naging okasyon ng kasiyahan kundi nagsilbi rin itong paalala sa bawat isa ng papel ng wika sa pagpapaunlad ng kaalaman at bayan. Sa pamamagitan ng mga patimpalak, eksibit, at talakayan, naipadama ng mga kalahok ang diwa ng pagiging makabayan

Sama-sama nating ipagmalaki ang ating wika, kultura, at kasaysayan! Ang Buwan ng Wika at Buwan ng Kaysaysayan ay hindi lamang isang pagdiriwang, kundi isang pagkakataon upang palakasin at pagyamanin ang ating pagkakakilanlan bilang mga Pilipino.

This celebration commemorates with pride and gratitude, honoring the courage and sacrifices of past and modern-day heroes who fought for freedom, justice, and nation-building."

As wreaths were laid and flags flown high, the celebration called on every Filipino to embrace the legacy of heroism in everyday life.

National Heroes Day is more than just a date on the calendar or a long weekend for rest—it is a powerful reminder of sovereignty, paving the way for the Philippines we know today.

National Heroes Day is not just about honoring the dead; it is about inspiring the living. It calls every Filipino to reflect on how they, too, can serve the nation in their own way—through honesty, hard work, compassion, and courage. As we remember those who came before us, we must also ask ourselves:

"What kind of legacy will we leave behind?"

In this question lies the true essence of heroism in today's world.

The 40th National Civil Engineering Student's Quiz (NCESQ)-Regional Elimination for Region XII was held on August 23, 2025, at the Philippine Institute of Civil Engineers (PICE) Office in Brgy. Bula, General Santos City.

The event gathered eight participating schools- Mindanao State University (MSU), Notre Dame of Dadiangas University (NDDU), Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Colleges (RMMC), University of Southern Mindanao (USM), Central Mindanao College (CMC), Notre Dame of Marbel University (NDMU), Sultan Kudarat State University (SKSU), and Notre Dame of Kidapawan College (NDKC)—in a competitive display of engineering knowledge and academic excellence.

In a battle of wit, among the notable participants was Mr. Jhon Paul Mones, Mr. Clifford Estaña and Mr. Francis G. Ubando, who represented the school with excellence, contributing to a Civil Engineering talent and academic competitiveness. The NCESQ continues to be a vital platform for honing critical thinking and preparing students for future contributions of infrastructure and development.

The Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Colleges (RMMC) – General Santos City came alive with energy and excitement as it officially kicked off the academic year through its grand Abre Klase 2025 annual celebration, held at the RMMC-IS grounds along Ventilacion Street, Barangay Lagao, on July 31, 2025.

Thousands of students, faculty, staff, and alumni gathered in unity to mark the opening of classes with a festive, music-filled welcome. This year’s vibe focused on rekindling passion for learning, creativity, and student engagement through its electrifying peak as rising OPM sensation Ace Banzuelo took the stage as the headline performer.

Aside from that, the celebration featured interdepartmental performances and a vibrant community fair showcasing the talents and diversity of the RMMC student body. The successful event marks the college’s continued commitment to building a dynamic and inclusive learning environment, where academics, arts, and student life go hand in hand.
As the echoes of music and cheers fade, RMMC-Gensan steps confidently into the new school year—energized, united, and ready for the journey ahead.

The highly anticipated Abre Klase 2025 of the Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Colleges (RMMC) is set to mark the beginning of a new academic year with energy, camaraderie, and school spirit. The grand opening event will be held on July 31, 2025, today at RMMC-IS, Ventilacion Street, Barangay Lagao, General Santos City.

Aimed at welcoming both returning students and new freshmen, the event promises a full day of engaging activities, orientation sessions, and especially a celebration of the CE community’s shared goals.

What to Bring:

Participants are required to bring the following:

School ID

Small bag or sling bag (Note: Backpacks are not allowed)

Flask or tumbler (Plastic bottles are strictly prohibited)

Dress Code:
1st Year Students (Freshmen): Orange shirt

2nd and 4th Year Students: Official college shirts

To ensure a smooth arrival, a site map has been provided, and students unfamiliar with General Santos City are encouraged to seek assistance from fellow CE students, student officers, or school guards.
