“I’VE NOT BEEN IN LOVE FOR 21 YEARS” — OMOTOLA JALADE-EKEINDE OPENS UP ABOUT MARRIAGE

Veteran actress Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde has offered a candid reflection on her 21-year marriage, admitting that longevity does not always mean being in love or feeling fulfilled.

The actress revealed that there have been moments when she felt completely done with her marriage and needed to step away to regain perspective.

“I’ve been married for 21 years but I’ve not been in love for 21 years. There are times periodically or instantly, I just feel like I’m done with my marriage, and then I’d find somewhere else to calm my head.”

The dancer was spotted receiving a warm welcome from Burna Boy, who reportedly played a role in securing his release.

Poco Lee is, however, still reportedly scheduled to appear for a PTPH (Plea and Trial Preparation Hearing) at Snaresbrook Crown Court on September 15.

A PTPH is a pre-trial hearing where matters relating to the defendant’s plea and preparations for trial are considered.

“If You Have Sickle Cell, Forget About Love” — Adekunle Gold Reveals He Wouldn’t Have Married Simi If She Was AS or SS

Singer Adekunle Gold has sparked conversations after speaking about sickle cell, genotype compatibility and the importance of knowing one’s genotype before marriage.

Speaking on the One54 Africa Podcast, the singer said more awareness needs to be created around sickle cell, arguing that people living with the condition should carefully consider marriage and having children because of the possibility of passing it on to their children.

“If you have sickle cells, forget about love. You can’t do it because it makes no sense. You are about to bring a child into the world and they are about to be sickly.”

Adekunle Gold also revealed that genotype compatibility was one of the first things he and his wife, Simi, established when they met.

According to him, he would not have married Simi if she had an SS or AS genotype, adding that she is AA and their genotypes are compatible.

“I wouldn’t have married my wife if she was SS. When we met, the first thing we did was know our genotype and we match. So she is AA.”

Pocolee’s Friends Allegedly Go Into Hiding Amid Ongoing UK Case

According to True Crime Daniel, an update concerning Nigerian comedian Pocolee’s ongoing case in the UK is that some of the friends who were with him during his UK trip, including around the time of his arrest, have allegedly gone into hiding and are refusing to testify.
