A brave Kurdish fighter named Saba, from the Democratic Party of Iranian Kurdistan (PDKI), delivered a stark plea in a frontline interview: the Iranian regime is a brutal machine that executes its citizens, displaces families, and crushes anyone daring to demand freedom. She called on the United States and allied nations to step up and back the fight against this murderous theocracy.
The 3-minute video shows her in combat fatigues, speaking from rugged Iraqi Kurdistan terrain—armed, resolute, and unbowed.
This comes as five major Iranian Kurdish opposition groups—including PDKI—united in late February 2026 into a formal coalition aimed at toppling the Islamic Republic and securing Kurdish self-determination. Reports indicate U.S. officials have held talks with these forces about potential support, including arms and coordination, amid escalating conflict and Iranian missile and drone strikes on their bases in northern Iraq.
Saba's message is clear and urgent: help is needed now to stop the bloodshed and give people a real chance at liberty.
Yet the path is fraught. Many Iranian nationalists view any armed Kurdish role as a red-line threat to national unity. Others warn of history repeating—Kurds used as proxies, then abandoned (as in Syria 2019). Without ironclad political guarantees, the risks are enormous.
Still, in a moment when the regime shows weakness, these fighters stand ready. The free world should listen—and decide whether to stand with those risking everything against tyranny.
