It is with profound sadness & heavy hearts that we share the news of Community Bread founder, Arthur Kozlovski’s passing.

Arthur was a true visionary. Not only did he dream up the concept of Community Bread, but through his unwavering passion to do good & genuine care for others, he inspired us to bring this beautiful vision to life.

When the world was gripped in fear & uncertainty; when we were all separated, mostly alone, broke & scared, Arthur didn’t succumb to despair - he created thoughtful, tangible solutions. He connected us through the joy of music. He provided revenue streams for marginalized artists who lost their gigs in the pandemic. He brought together 26 LGBTQIA+ & POC centric music collectives from around the globe.

From Singapore’s to Berlin’s .official , Arthur’s vision was to guide us through the darkest of times by uniting us on the emblematic dance-floor - virtual & IRL

Arthur often didn’t get the credit he deserved. Let it be known that through his tireless & selfless work for Community Bread, we were able to fundraise nearly $140k for over 60 LGBTQIA+ & POC artists as well as charity organizations such as , &

Evidently, he touched the lives of many who didn’t even know him. And for those that did, he’s left a hole in our hearts that will never be filled.

We will forever miss our dear friend Arthur - outrageously funny, defiantly determined, endlessly giving & fierce to the very core.

We love you Arthur.

Community Bread is excited to team up again with our mates from Beatport, this time for a special installment of ReConnect in aid of the devastating humanitarian crisis in Ukraine. Taking place at public records this Sunday 13th of March (from 8pm-2am EST), this livestream fundraiser and live event (with strictly limited capacity) features a heavy-weight lineup of talent including MIKE SERVITO, Victor Calderone, Julia Govor, Moren### Masha-Maria Koblyakova, & CB’s own Arthur Kozlovski

Throughout the duration of the multi-hour stream across Twitch, Facebook, and YouTube, viewers can make donations, with the funds directly benefiting those most affected by the ongoing war in Ukraine. All funds raised by Beatport’s ReConnect will directly go to Choose Love, a non-profit organization providing vital aid and services to those fleeing Ukraine in the form of emergency medical care, food, shelter, clothes, support for the
LGBTQIA+ community, and more. With the forced displacement of millions of people, Choose Love Ukraine aims to provide safety and hope for many in this desperate time of need.

The event will be free with RSVP, with donations collected at the door (RSVP and donate via link in bio). This is the time for our community to step forward and not only show solidarity but support those that are unjustly facing this escalating crisis in Ukraine. This NYC installment is part of.ReConnect’s mammoth 20hr global livestream fundraiser taking place in Berlin, Lisbon, Sydney, Bali and more. Stay tuned for more updates. And as always tune in & drop out this Sunday and 💙💛

We’re excited to announce that the enigmatic and super talented DJ Sausha De La Ossa (a fellow CB alumni who tore up Fourth World x Community Bread) helms the reigns for CB MIX 016. A driving, dark and brooding mix that builds in tension, this is the perfect showcase of Sausha De La Ossa skills - across 4 decks mind you - and penchant for the spookier shades of techno & electro. We love this mix and asked a few questions. (Link in bio to hear the mix on Community Bread SoundCloud)

What would you like ppl to know about you?
I'm just as sexy on the inside.

Tell us about this mix and what you want listeners to get from it.
This mix spawned with me on adderall & 4 cdjs. It reflects my current state of mind in that all I wanna do is dance, stunt/strut around, & feel sexy while on a melodic joyride. Poke a hole and take a sip 🧃🧃🧃

When did you first take an interest in music?
I fell into it really naturally. I think growing up feeling out of control, I learned the one thing I could create for myself was an atmosphere I was comfortable in with sound. After moving to new york and surrounding myself w super talented inspiring ppl I refined my taste & style as I go deeper into djing & producing. I’ve stayed careful w what I want to release because I’m a perfectionist but I’m finally ready to start putting cute s**t out for people to indulge in. Bon appetite bitch !!

What have been some of your fav gigs?
Recently my favorite gig I played was for my Club Eat fam. They put on a show out in a field by a highway somewhere in Cypress Hill. Ren & Chicken performing is entrancing & hypnotizing af experience literally every single time. I also loved playing Platinum earlier this summer.

How do you think we make the underground clubbing community better?
A lot of parties feel really bleak, especially post covid. I would love to see ppl in nightlife aim more towards creating unique experiences for people.

Our bodies are still sore from the epicness that was FOURTH WORLD 2021 x Community Bread rave last Friday - our first foray into the IRL world. But CB has many more plans, sticking firm with our mission of supporting marginalized voices in the global nightlife scene. 💚🌈💫

We’re so excited to announce that Community Bread will be the first ever guest curators at this year’s world renowned Sustain-Release - a music festival which we’ve always said is undoubtedly the best in the world. Don’t just take our word for it. The New York Times Resident Advisor & probably every artist & dancer that has attended can attest to this.

An intimate festival run by acclaimed DJ/producer (& CB alumni who created a hypnotic stream for CB II Livestream fundraiser for GLITS Inc.) Aurora Halal, Sustain-Release is a magical experience in upstate NYC, bringing to contrast the pulsating sounds of techno, house, ambient & electronica against a serene forrest and lake setting. Past installments has seen international artists such Paula Temple DJ Stringray DJ Nobunaga & Honey Dijon grace the decks while supporting local artists such as Shyboi Pure Immanence & Justin Cudmore 💚.

This year’s more intimate affair boasts a dazzling lineup including Eartheater Carlos Souffront Octo Octa b2b Eris Drew Juliana Huxtable & so much more. Meanwhile Community Bread takes over Sunday’s notorious pool party curating a lineup of CB alumni’s including Ariel Zetina DJ Leeon MIKE SERVITO, TT & a very special performance by Kevin Aviance! This will be a pool party like no other! 🌈💚🔥

While Sustain Release is an exclusive membership only festival, Community Bread will also be working with Aurora & her team on an initiative to reserve & provide a pool of discounted tickets to LGBTQ+, BIPOC & other marginalized or underrepresented people who may not have access otherwise. To learn more & apply, visit sustain-release.com/tickets

The otherworldly, feel-good vibe at Sustain-Release is unparalleled. But after hibernating off the dance-floor for 18 months, we have a feeling that this yr’s installment is going to be extra special. Images via SR
