For week #2 I've been writing a script for Mormon and the first couple scenes are written. The opening introduces us to a disciple of Jesus Christ named Ammaron who commissions Mormon to become the future record keeper.

What role do you think Ammaron had in Mormon's life? Was it only for his commission or was he present before and/or after? Let me know in the comments.

Week #2 Update on Mormon Cinema.

I had a crazy week trying out different ways to start to script but eventually settled on one. I have a couple scenes written for a full length feature film script of Mormon. Mormon is arguably the most intense and compelling story in The Book of Mormon and is the most special to me. We learn a little about a disciple of Jesus Christ named Ammaron, who commissions young Mormon to retrieve the sacred records at age 24. But was he a mentor or known figure in Mormon's life? It doesn't say. So what do you think?

I'll keep writing and networking for now. I'll let you all know more next week.

In The Book of Mormon in Alma chapter 50 the Nephite nation is in danger. A conspiracy in the north is happening and a dangerous plot is hatched that nearly succeeded in crippling a nation just before a massive invasion happened. The heroes we know of here are Captain Moroni and Teancum...but who is the Maid of Morianton? Without her, Morianton, the villain and tyrant, would have succeeded and gotten away with his conspiracy. But for the bravery of his Maid who suffered under his hand she was able to alert and inform Captain Moroni about his plan. To learn more about the story read Alma chapter 50 in the Book of Mormon.

This is the first of what I hope to be weekly updates on Mormon Cinema. I will document and record the progress made for myself and for others to view as time goes on. Let's tell the stories found in the greatest book ever: The Book of Mormon.
