INDIAN ARMY ORGANISES QUAMI EKTA IFTAAR AT SAMOTE ON 16 APR 2022

Samote, Koteranka (Rajouri) : In continuation of its efforts to foster Peace, Communal Harmony and Prosperity in the region, Indian Army organised Quami Ekta Iftaar at Samote, Rajouri District on 16 Apr 2022, during the pious Ramzaan.
The event was aimed at strengthening the already existing bond between the people from all communities, take their views on peace, harmony, youth engagement and development in the region and ensure that all the efforts of administration and Awam are aligned towards mainstreaming of the society.
The event was attended by around 250 locals and prominent opinion makers to include State Govt officials, Sarpanchs, Panchs, Social Activists, Maulvies, and Other Prominent civilians. The speakers were invited amongst the audience, who expressed their views and highlighted, communal harmony, peace, prosperity, development in the area, focus on education for the children, generating employment opportunities for the youth and fight against drug menace. The event culminated with IFTAAR for all invited guests as a gesture of gratitude and communal harmony.
The locals lauded the efforts of Indian Army in organising such events which will go a long way in further cementing the already existing bond between different communities and foster peace and harmony in the region. The locals also thanked Indian Army for taking such nobel initiatives for locals which will create a peaceful atmosphere in areas South of Pir Panjal Range
